Price almost hit the minimum target of $750 . Profit taking now, we are stoped out with nice profit. Looking to rejoin if the trend will regain his strenght.

Long opportunity ahead . It will be ideal for price to create a higher low upside to give a place where to put our SL for a lower risk. Two scenarios can unfold , a tighter SL and a large one :

Large decline teetering on the edge
Greetings fellow and future bitcoin traders. It's been a long time since I've seen the bitcoin price charts so bearish across timeframes. Of course, there is no other asset out there that even comes close to Bitcoin's super-fundamentals (censorship resistance, cryptographic security, mathematical consensus), yet, being unregulated (and beyond regulation by design) and floating freely in the open market, the price chart is traded up and down like any other commodity - irrespective of fundamentals or news events.
The 4hr view is shown in the attached chart.
Breach of the ascending blue trendline signals that the largest players are willing to concede some selling - despite ample resources in a market with low liquidity, they failed to defend that trendline.
Conceivable S&R is annotated with magenta arrows where Fib extension targets overlap with previous horizontal S&R at $600 and $560 (the previous decline low).
A miracle may halt decline, but, from the technicals, it looks like a bout of selling is about to grip this market.

According to my preference for larger moves, I'm waiting for price to either advance above $600 with bullish MACDs in the 4hr and 1day charts, or a consolidation above $560 (Bitstamp) with a drop through $550.
Some people believe hashrate and mining economics drive the bitcoin chart. Others think news drives it (and all other markets), some think that Chinese traders (there are so many of them!) drive the chart. I agree with Elliott Wave and the Socionomics view: market psychology sets the long-term trends.
Chinese buyers-and-holders are probably less in number than US buy-and-holders - and the herd of Chinese traders are as clueless as the Western herd: this is evident from the Chinese-only orderbooks which are filled with thousands of orders worth between 0.1 and 0.01 BTC that constantly change and shift as these guys bite their nails wondering what price will do next
The large moves - mass participation - involves the majority of the market, but they are led by the whales: hedge funds and Wall street shadow banks like every other market. To understand this is to understand how to trade: follow the large price moves after they have already started to push through S&R, not to bet on what one thinks (hopes) price will do.
