I've currently got 150:1 through a prop trading firm, but I never had any bad experiences while I was still trading with Oanda

Does Oanda charge any fees for any inactivity in your trading activity for a specific amount of time? I do hope they do not since my trading strategy can sometimes involve exposure in the market between 5-6 months if the market conditions apply.

Nope. It can sit as long as you want.

If you think about it they have use of your money while it's not in a trade. I've never heard of a br0ker that does this.

Yeah and that's called a tier 1 prime bröker.

Examples of tier 1 brôkers (real interbank market): J.P Morgan, UBS, Deutsche Bank, etc.

Examples of tier 2 brôkers (sort of a medium to the interbank) LCG FX, Interactive Brokers, etc.

Examples of tier 3 brôkers (retail non-interbank market): Oanda, FXCM, MBTrading,...

Hello Highlander2,

If you want to switch your language you need to go to the third item on the navigation toolbar, and out of the dropdown select the 4th item.

A new dropdown will appear with all the available languages.

I have attached two images to help you through the process. Let me know if this works out for you.

Does anyone know why they quote eurhuf eurpln 100/60 pips all day? I sent them mail they haven't responded yet. They are absolutely not competitive with these spreads. i was lamenting whether they just want to kill this part of their business?

I'm an Oanda customer for about 2 weeks now. Only realised that the pip difference becomes 10+ just minutes before U.S Data was about to be released. Overall a satisfied customer of Oanda but hate that we can't close a portion of my trades.

at what amount of money/pip would you say does the risk start to trade with oanda? at what amount do they start to influence your orders etc.?

I got an email from oanda that they are the only brokers who are active on week ends so i opened acount with them,but i can see that there is no movement on there mt4 platform
why is that?

because There Aren't any Movements During the weekend, It Not wise To open trades During the weekend Because the Spread Are sky High. the only advantage is that you can close a trade if you see fit. otherwise the Market is DEAD.

Yeah, FxTrade 1.6395. Oanda charts print halfway between the spread. With a wide spread MT4 will show a lot lower as it prints the bid

I cannot confirm the spread at the time, but I have screenshot showing a large movement of about 60 pips in 2 minutes GBPUSD when I opened my chart to check.

I do have access to a streaming video with no chart data, but an ea that captures statistics on a chart, which is the GBPJPY. maybe later today or tomorrow I could see the spread of that time period for that pair at that specific time
