Disliked$10 per pip = 1 lot = $100000 margin at no leverage (or 1:1 leverage).
Plus, add the spread and assuming an average 20 pips risk per trade you should have at least $105000-110000 to start off, to cover for eventual losing streaks while maintaining the starting position size...
At a higher leverage, like 50:1 or even 100:1, you could use a much smaller capital, like 5 to 10K.
But... being new to forex it is highly recommendable to start with much less position size to test the waters and learn thoroughly before you jump and risk higher amounts....Ignored
