Let see how it goes by morning time and end of today but don't rush to close it because it's in the direction of the main trend and considering how market behaved yesterday

Good call. My problem with gold is usually entry due to its volatility and manipulation. Even with a fat SL, you might get wicked out and it eventually goes in your direction.

if this fails then it will not sell this week, this is a high probability sell but anything is possible , yesterday market was a different scenario so no need to worry about clearing of sl

Now it has a higher chance of selling than before, yesterday sweep cleared the way for the ideal sell to start today and these are the coded information on the chart,
but it could also have been a test on weekly buy zone then more buys but I guess bears won the battle already

Gold(XAUUSD) Outlook for day (18-06-2026)

outlook: Bearish to sideways

Bearish bias, wait for the levels mentioned below:
4383 is major resistance, price showing a corrective rally after yesterday's down-move. If price gets rejected from the current resistance, which is at the level of 4330 expect a continued move in Bearish direction, before any decisive move, a consolidations at current levels would be an ideal situation.
Important support seen on the price structure is at 4220.

We can try a short entry below 4300 with SL above 4330, to capture the down-move till 4240.

I agree with the bearish bias below 4330. The key will be whether sellers can defend that resistance area. If 4300 breaks with momentum, 4240–4220 looks like a reasonable target zone. Staying patient for confirmation is better than anticipating the move.

Looking to sell if market sweeps these highs a lot of LIQUIDITY which needs to be awakend and selling from above these highs after confirmation and targeting $4270 would be a great target and then buy from $4270-$4265 target 1:3-1:4 would be great as now market is consolidating and likely to manipulate upside and then goes down to demand and FIB 50% too from this level $4265 buyers will active in my prespective.
