Good call closing it rather than letting that SL get tested. With the statement just out, gold is usually less about the headline rate (a hold was almost fully priced in) and more about where real yields and the dollar go from here, plus how the dots read versus expectations and how the Chair sounds at the 2:30 presser. That repricing is a big part of why you get those crazy intraday whipsaws right around the release, the level can swing hard even when the rate itself doesn't change. No edge on direction here myself, just sizing down and giving it room until the dust settles after the presser.
