The stock market is not the economy, and that old saw has never been truer. You have a single company, Nvidia, now representing 10% of the value of the SnP. The top 10 companies are >40% of the total value of the index. These companies mostly do business with each other and they don't reflect the health of the economy at all. If you're long the index, all good, just don't pretend the mess Trump is making isn't real because a few companies are doing great.

If you look at the equal weight SnP, it's dead flat over the last year.

Exactly, and its all done thru buybacks anyway. They buy their own shares instead of creating jobs with that capital. Trickle-down economics means shacking everybody down as low as possible. The whole system is so fucked it's not even funny anymore.
