Current trade. Entered way to early after the trendline break and retest. Stop loss is under the 30min 100 ema. Stop loss moved to break even after 1xATR (7.1) Take profit at daily ATR via the indicator @dartboardio recommended! Hopefully we can break out of this box!

Also, I trade gold futures so the prices will not match yours! Key levels are very similar though.

Looks like a good trade... entering early worked out well this time... but yes, if you wait for the retest, it will save some pain...: )

Stop Loss (trailing) under 30 min 100ema sounds good... just follow it on close-basis... I mean stop only if it "closes" below that... there is one hurdle (which I might short the high of yday's asian ) to cross though... hv marked with orange in ur chart...

Closer to overlap is usually less sideway-ish but for this one somehow I cannot resist the temptation to buy now LOL
