Gold with thedaytrader

Hello Everybody :-)

I am starting this thread for interactive discussion on Gold Trading and give my Trading Levels and Management of trading gold. I day trade the Gold with my EA takes care of getting out of the trades. The daily levels (I call them Bounce Points) of 1hr and 4hr fractals are decided and limit (both sell and buy) orders with an initial SL are placed at the start of the day and the SL/TP exit is managed by the EA.

I was giving all the trades and levels on the Gold in "Interactive Forums", before I was "ignored" by ChiForex, the owner of that thread, without telling me why; so I am not able to write there... hence starting a new thread here. I hope it will be helpful for people trading Gold and learning to trade.

You are free to ask questions and write your opinions on Gold Trading here. But please keep it to Trading and Gold Only :-)

Here is the analysis of the results for my last 20 days of bounce trades taken and posted on the Gold Interactive Forum:
No. of Trades : 47
Net Profit : 23 points
Max Drawdown : 6.5 points
Profit Factor : 2.02

For a 1.5% of max risk on every trade (1.5 points), its a return of 23% in 20 trading days, which is pretty good. The max drawdown was (maximum it went down from a high (equity)) 6.5%...

Yesterday I had three orders executed... with the following results: -1.5, +8, -1.0

We will keep a track of the trades each day

Here are three levels I am trading today, 2 Sell Levels and 1 Buy Level:

Short : 3341.32, 3344.80
Long : 3315.17

All with initial SL of 1.5 points. When the trade hits and goes in favour, will squeeze that... will get back with trade management when they get executed.

actually i added stoch to just give a random reason, main thing is that powel may not cut rates prompting usd to appreciate forcing people to cut gold longs

So a short on H1 based on Powell's rate decision which isn't due till 16th September?

This will be on Fri, right ? So you plan to hold it thru...
