Could be many things mate, if you look at an index of the aussie and kiwi you can see they're both under some heavy pressure. It might not be data driven, could be a news headline that people didn't like or another thing you can sometimes see is a sympathy move due to bad AUD data (-2.5K employment change) which means more rate cuts are possibly being priced in.
