IMHO, as the market starts to grow "immune" from Trump's tweets / words, like I'll fire Powell / I've talked to Xi / I've made 200 deals / I've ended the Ukraine war in 1 day, or whatever, gold's volatility should start to wane and the price should slowly retreat towards the $3000-$3100 levels over the next few weeks.
The US administration has been trying to "talk up the market" in the past week, but the status quo remains unchanged. Tariff's still there, China is not talking, no deals are made, the wars are still ongoing, Fed is still Fed.

Checking pa , though correction still not any enough as next top failure limit 3245 intact ,in bull but in a smaller bear set up running having double top and double bottom in the play over limit signal and at tl channel support and this bear set may get a new wave b before c down for limit test again.so range up almost flat running, next decision or reaction may around 3340/65 .let's see , take care

The pullback may just be a little turn into a smaller sub wave of W3 down, which might be coming Monday. I have a feeling that the Asian session could send it further down, but support says the contrary. Let's see.

I think it is incorrect, seeing as the price from dropped 3330, which is not the closing price for Friday. IG markets still show the same closing price as here on FF, 3317.

I speculate a gap up and going up to 3382 on Monday's opening, seeing as there is no war resolution, The BS between Pakistan and India, The explosion in Iran, and Trump still not ceding in these tariff talks. It all points upwards, even though the technicals point hard down, we know how Gold responds preferably to fundamentals. The drop was a combination of taking profit after hitting super round 3500, and talks of lowering tariffs, from both US and China.

So maybe we will go down, but not much, before shooting up.

FA Analysis:
1- Risk: Agreements are underway between Iran-USA and Ukraine-Russia. This has a negative impact on Gold price which is good.
2- Uncertainty Context: Market has started seeing the 90-day tariff pause as an Eternity pause. If Bonds markets (i.e., U10y and U30y) are dropping, Gold will drop with them. They're correlated in the current context.
3- Key Economic Indicators: Market is paying attention to recession status and inflation. Bad economic data and higher inflation will impact positively Gold price and vice-versa. But the impact of negative data will be softer than the impact of positive data as the current gold price is already pricing in the negative data.

So from FA perspective, Gold direction should be South.

- The weekly candle closed red and bearish with a large wick.
- A continuation is expected.

- The daily close is irrelevant as the daily candle is an inside the previous red daily candle. Price must break and close the larger red daily candle for clear direction. Until then, uncertainty will prevail.

- Price is inside a VA to resume the down trend.
- 3324-3330 will provide a great opportunity to go short.

I think it’s better to buy rather than sell, considering the simple analysis (bet) and the upward-supporting pattern for a slightly longer timeframe (weekly). Gold may once again try to knock on heaven’s door (it’s not easy to enter heaven through layered skies) https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...1#post15219791. Most importantly, calculate the risk (it’s everything). If the first attempt fails, try a second or third time, with a maximum risk of 1.5% totale (3 trades).

Now, Correct me if I’m wrong!
18132 pips from 3318.68 to 3500.00
1/3 ADR (21) is 773 pips /3 = 258 pips (risk 1 unit)

18,132 pips / 258 pips
= 70.28x
