Long time ago. I can't remember exact details but I have some vague ideia that it was slow to get the payout details working, it was not smooth and they support was not very fast.

Anyway, I've blown that account long time ago with just 1 or 2 payouts. I didn't like what they did before the funded stage and never went back.

That's one of the downsides of most of the props. You need to milk them fast (which means taking much more risk than in Darwin).

...and to mention they have big problems with their dashboard when you are funded, funnily enough, because then it counts, and the daily DD never resets on a new day for you. So it is just a matter of time you get problems and a false breach and then the mess with support is starting. Good night. I took me over 1 week and 10 mails to get this stupidity solved. It is kind of scam trick to slow down any funded trader at FundedNext, I would avoid them. Surely I will never touch them again.

If the model is still based in paying the winners with the money from the losers, these kind of rules will shove away gamblers that want a quick rich scheme.

Without them I'm not sure if the industry will survive. The problem nowadays seems to be that gamblers became smarter, learned to count cards, blackjack is still the same and they have a good hedge over props.

I don't see how this can change significantly, even with those proposed rules (because in my opinion you are devising rules based in actual data but data will also change with the new rules - maybe gambler will even adapt to them).

I think that so long as the rules shape trading the chance to no longer have to b book the world is there but some of the people i have had recent conversations with are far smarter than me and they will solve this puzzle i think

The advantage for a profitable trader to trade on a prop versus personal broker is around 60% to 120% in favor to the prop. So you can make more profits on a prop. But only in a PERFECT world. When you need to fear on your payout. You consider the rules with the changes over time. You need to contact support, stay in touch with discord and other announcements all the time for new rules etc. And then you need to wait a week or a few weeks to get the payout and you need to wait for trading (fearing to give profits back in a payout cycle and then have no payout in the end, because you traded without any interruption, if possible). Then those advantage in money vanish at all in my eyes. It is not worth all the efforts you need to have with a prop firm and the patience there. Personal broker trading is easiest and who says you cannot have your own rules in your own mind to copy any prop firm. You are totally free here. Prop firm trading nowadays is ONLY A MUST FOR GAMBLERS, so called card counters, who play foul to any prop, and want their money from other traders who are honest and loosing. It will get more and more difficult in this space.

To make an example. If I trade on a good and cheap prop firm, where my advantage is around 100%. So it means when I make 10k on a personal broker I can make 20k on a prop firm. Now you followed all the rules and they payout for sure. Now you need to wait a few weeks until you can trade again on your prop account. This 100% advantage is now 0%, ZERO, because of the huge payout delay, because in that time you can trade of course on your personal broker account and scale up there.

Yep you'll get invitation from APex after approval like 3-4 days after.....THen fill in the details in PLane and done.. Once plane receives money they automatically transfer to your bank account in like 1-2 days.

I have nothing against them..... But certain red flags for me....
1. THey running thousands of dollars business but cant even get a .com domain...
2. Their Ceo has written Scam all over his face like running pyramid scheme..... he is giving interviews to a random trader (god damn trading no promotion).
3. Same forex prop firms style website like prop lions, cheetah, dragons, racer etc. He doesn't have a proper ecommerce for website like who uses a checkout system for financial products... Using 10$ website theme.
4. Not many big youtube future traders using it.
5. Better to stick top 4 which can keep you occupied peace of mind payouts......

For smaller payouts maybe alright for now but big payouts there is BIG IF

Any one trading gold...all my confluences screaming its bullish. Entered long a bit shitty entry at 2495.6 could have been better. Aiming for a 2502 or above.... Lets see sl improved.... Gonna hold this one longer that asian... Only trade for today either loss or tp.....

All prop firms including APEX is the pyramid scheme . They pay or not pay depends on new signups....With APEX denials and no clear black and white rule like Bulenox or Topstep traders are looking for alternatives. Also they are not cheap like 50K is costing 449$ with 30% standard discount it comes around 315$.
Lets say if a traders passing rate on apex is 25-30% so he will spend 35*4=140$ (YOLO trades 4 times or hedge buy and sell NQ 10 contracts for 61 ticks).
So total is 140$ + 140$ = 280$ so still instant funding is expensive and they have 20% consistency rule...
Actually they are smart they don't accept credit cards so traders can't do charge back.

I am not a apex fanboy but i like one thing about them....There is a peace of mind for payout no matter the size......No matter how many times you get big payouts...If you have withdrawn too much from a firm you immediately get kicked out but not here.... I have crossed 50k++ payout no issues at all. For me their rules are clear no DCA and r:R under 3:1 thats it (btw i use mental stops so its alright if the r:r is under check). I follow it get the payout approved everytime no matter size... Tonight i'll be requesting 33k bag....... So in short for big PAPA payouts which i aim for apex and topstep the best..... Plus as you can see i post by everyday profits and entries to show this the way to get payouts. I learnt the trick and showing others....
Plus i am still waiting to find a trader who got denied after following all rules not like forex props for denying coz i was risking 1%-1.5% per trade thats too risky... (you might be thinking i might be gambling but i dont do dca not even before the rule, nevere hedge or martingale. SImply open a single trade with sl and tp. it happened coz i requested 35K payout from a 200k account in first payout all documented in this thread)

In addition to what Monty has said, their discord is a hot mess (announcements channel). The founder is having problems getting caught up with payments.

Reeks of a one man operation. One of his recent videos stated no Ninjatrader, Tradovate declined him.
