personally I think too many futures props would be poisonous to the space. even if run by legit, non-Scamgelos.

would rather have the flood of $$ go into the top 3-5 futures prop firms - let them sit on a shit-ton of money so traders get paid.

Yeah, I discovered that one last week, along with:

https://www.flexytrade.com/ another 90% off, 20 account firm.

If these 2 are legit, we can now copy 65 accounts....just need a few ticks per day.

Yes, just like the forex prop space was 3 years ago. I agree 100%. Unfortunately, we couldn't stop them then and we can't stop them now.

Great point and why (for same reasons 3 years ago), we should stick with the proven, paying firms. Perhaps it's different in futures....is there a business in a box, is there an easton tech type company, is there an fpfx?
I mean this one offers a rithmic feed and quantower, maybe there are some serious capital requirements to be able to offer these things as well as Ninja, Tradeovate, etc..... vs. how easy it was to start a forex prop? I truly have no idea, cannot even speculate.
I am only trading apex with the goal of amplifying my personal account.....same as I was doing with forex. Problem is, being in the US, there is not one good place to trade forex (personal or prop).....so everything (personal and prop) getting dumped into futures.

I read NinjaTrader not taking on any new futures props. Unverified source but can dig up where I read it, if anyone cares enough. I don’t, haha.

I would rather pay 200% with ICM then 10% with Alpha. If you get it back with first payout then why does it matter? The only problem is ICM freezing demo compared to Live account, wonder how they can solve that.

-The simple fact that they cannot interfere with the data feed (presumably) and the products are regulated, should hopefully set these props apart from their FX counterparts.

It should just require logging in with a separate account, and since it's fully licensed 2 simultaneous logins should be a go.

-That's good to know. Thanks. I wonder if having 2 separate logins for the same data provider would put you at risk of being labeled as a professional?

Someone on reddit was telling me that some providers will label you as a professional, just for trading as an LLC. I cannot believe that.
