If there was a prop firm where you could actually trade everything from one account like on tradingview that wasn't restricted, no consistency rule, it would be easy to succeed. That's why I really have my doubts these firms know what they're doing. most assets are priced in dollars , most firms don't offer a wide array of commodities only crypto and currencies which are all heavily correlated. Maybe some day we'll be able to trade soybean meal against the euro or aussie, as well as orange juice or platinum against bitcoin and other interesting combinations. natural gas against the yen (fantasizing).........

I feel that their rules are overly strict. Upon joining the Discord channel, I made a mistake by saying something wrong, and I believe that a warning would have been more appropriate than being immediately blocked. I took the initiative to apologize and even sent an email to address the situation, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response. This situation raises concerns for new and inexperienced traders who may not be familiar with the platform's rules, as it can be seen as a potentially risky environment.

No doubt about that but it's shady that he is writing this when he is offering 5% cash back for nice reviews:

They don't seem that bad. They have the SL rule in 60s but if we forget they simply close the trade and it's not breach.
Leverage is 1:33. News is not a problem.
10 trading days for first payout.

near anyone know no professional trader will use this kind of prop (thatswhy noone with a mind would do A-book them). with a good chance only total reality ignoring people or beginners do not know this fact, sometimes you find someone even dreaming about he is a professional trader and trade in prop, but this people at least are not so often when they dream about who they are and cant see what they are in reality - this reality gap is often funny when you see what they write and see how wrong many facts are or not logic at all.

but that is same in real life, a lot of people think they are more then they are in reality. reality accepting is a hard part for a lot of people, but an important step in growing up to a professional trader over 5-10 years.

-If I remember correctly, not only were their terms/offering pretty garbage (comparatively speaking, at the time), but they were heavily involved with educational stuff, so many of their reviews may not even be relevant.

i would even put them above FTMO in terms of credibility

They use Broctagon in Cyprus , broprime.com for liquidity

Sorry to be a bit harsh. But do not fool too many here. You cannot calculate and you cannot compare. What you said is totally wrong. You need to take into profit goals too. You cannot just look on one price and allowed drawdown. That does not work. Second there are professional data fees, which are a lot and monthly expenses with no refunds here. Also trailing makes it MUCH, MUCH more difficult. Good luck anyway. If you are that old and say such things, you should be better longterm investor ONLY. If you cannot compare it on your own how do you want to find or have a good strategy ? I cannot think of it, but there might be exceptions as always. Sorry again. But one must say this, to correct your rubbish. If you do not have talent in numbers or math, then let the university graduates evaluate prop firm offers. Better.

I made a comparison between FTMO and CTI because they are in the same virtual prop league and have same targets and max DD, similar spreads/commissions….

but not with Tradeday , playing in the pro league,that is why I posted that seperately .

Of course there are a lot of more factors to take into account , the most important is getting paid,no ?

In EVERY futures prop shop trailing to some extent is part of the game, this is protect to some extent part of open profits and closed profits.

WHY you think those VIRTUAL props dont have trailing stops ? BECAUSE THEY PREFER YOU GIVE BACK YOUR PROFITS OR HIT YOUR DRAWDOWN LIMIT so that they dont need to pay you out , remember profits are coming from the fees , so coming out of their own pockets..

ALL depends where the trailing stop is put, when it trails (intraday , EOD) , on open or closed profits ….as long you dont know the SPECIFICS about the trailing stop you cant make a judgement

for example , thetradingpit has a 8% profit target with a 10% traling drawdown on CLOSED profits for the CFD VIP porgram . That is what I would call a soft trailing stop

the executive program has the same 8% and 10% but trails on OPEN profits , that is less soft ..

Another example :

program A : profit target of $1000
__________Fixed drawdown of $300


program B : profit target of $ 1000
__________Trailing drawdown $ 1000 on closed profits

Same price, same payout , all the rest the same , which one you like more ?

Don't listen to Tranny, he’s not as smart as he thinks he is. I’ve been with Tradeday for little over a month. He doesn’t get the difference between CFD props and futures props. They are completely different. For what it is, Tradeday is fine.

If MFF is successfully taken down & never returns, I think the existing challenge model will eventually collapse. The retail prop industry requires perpetual growth to be stable... a flat market is highly problematic, a contracting market is an epic disaster.

Props surviving on A-book profits is pure fantasy land with an order book full of yolo lot sizes that are inexecutable & no customer deposits to drain via commissions.

Props allow the same trader's that would eventually blow live accounts to profit by only losing challenge fees.

In backtesting very few trader's systems would survive overcoming the spread + commissions + at least spread slippage on every entry/exit. Throw in market cycle changes and you have a disaster on your hands.

MFF's <1% STP group were net negative every month! These were their best traders with 5+ payouts and most of them could not perform in the real market.

CFTC has a very high win rate as most counterparties choose to settle with them. The most ideal scenario would be MFF gives a hefty fine to CFTC and settles this asap. Getting a trial would be dragging this way too long and by then, even if MFF wins the case, and comes back to the market, they would have lost most customers or the prop firm world as we once knew, would be dead already. (Which is prob CFTC's plan all along...They don't even have to win the case. They just have to throw a giant rock to the pond, scare off all the fish, and watch the world slowly burn in chaos and let everyone stab each other.) MFF's best strategy is to get a settlement asap according to game theory.

Similar things have happened in other fields. Google was accused of breaking the anti monopoly law and was fined 2billion euro. But does that stop Google being a monopoly? It's just a way for the gov to get their share of the pie. They are more concerned with their own interests than ours.

I, for my own selfish interest, am hoping MFF makes a comeback as I still have an account with them. But that could be just my wishful thinking......

Because as soon as the trail stops (usually at the initial balance) you are trading 100% own money (your accumulated profits).

However you are not getting 100% of the profits.

There's a way of beating trailing stop firms but one has to game the system instead of just trading. It's to make big trades and big wins and cash them immediately, causing the account to violate. Props won't allow us to do this many times.
