Well but they are acting like Funding Talent and TPT. Just posting message like Frozen account is not enough How about "The exact name of the regulator, the case number, will be on the letter. etc " When TPT got busted they said its secret. Don't you think they need to show things. Its not some sort of top secret document.

And why in the world would MFF be under the SEC and not the CFTC.... this sounds like the BTC/ETH/Binance/Coinbase crypto mess all over again.

Sec passes some rule that claims xyz market(s) are under their control out of their ass then moves to sue the largest players.

They can do anything man, Today I got message from Coinbase they are discontinuing USDT from Canadian division.
Don't you think it is too much of coincidence where two regulators from two different countries sue at the same time unless they are talking with each other.

To be honest, it was not the smartest idea of MFF to follow Funding talent in setting up shop in North America.

Sure thing bud, I am taking precaution now while keeping close tabs on the matter. Please keep me posted Incase of any new findings.

I had future plans of joining prop firms, that plan rests on shoulders of how MFF resolves the matter. I leave a benefit of doubt for the rest of the firms. If this happened in a blink of an eye(short notice) it can happen for them too, safety measures!

the problem is no country with a futures exchange will allow anyone especially some small time prop firm to trade their futures contracts

these firms brought it on themselves. I seen people in the gold thread switch to dow, nasdaq and s+p500 trqding cause gold has been stuck in a range for so long

that guy from mffx side stepped this enforcement by opening up the funded futures prop firm. he said he encouraged regulation and probably was talking to them and thats why he split his firm into seperate companies.

the cme and globex exchanges wont allow some shitty companies to steal their products and let people from poor ass countries trade their regulated contracts that charge fees...they get fees from every round turn

so unless your prop firm just stays to forex and just forex cause americans dont give a shit about forex than youll be alright but if your prop firm lets you trade the nasdaq or s+p of ftse or dax or whatever exchanges are in europe they will all get shut down

find just FOREX firms that dont fook with futures but the slege hammer just got swung againt the prop firms heads

so that matt guy from mffx looks real smart right now LOL cause ftmo and 5ers and everybody that doesnt pay the cme or eurex for the use of their futures product will be squished

That article about FINRA notwithstanding, MFF just states "commodities regulator in the United States". Sounds like CFTC instead of SEC, and maybe the FINRA expansion has nothing to do with this. Also, that new FINRA rule hasn't taken effect yet, and if/when (probably if) it does, firms have a year to comply - meaning not a sudden, immediate freeze on assets and a court date.

The FINRA expansion looks to be regulation of the real prop firms, not the space we are in. I also believe they are referring to the CFTC. Great point about the year to comply and that is AFTER it takes effect. There would be no freezing of accounts at this point.
