Disliked{quote} MFF is not like FT. All of them are genuine. It is not from MFF, It is from regulatory bodies. Have seen more often US regulators come in hard and try to restrict. MFF will overcome as they too are businessman.Ignored
Disliked{quote} SEC style = shoot first ask question later.... what would MFF have to do with treasury trading?Ignored
DislikedAnd why in the world would MFF be under the SEC and not the CFTC.... this sounds like the BTC/ETH/Binance/Coinbase crypto mess all over again. Sec passes some rule that claims jurisdiction out of their ass then moves to sue the largest players.Ignored
DislikedI believe that more information is required. The news article that I read compared prop firms to ponzi scams. Prop firms use 'their money', ponzi firms use the clients money. I guess the important detail will be where the funding for the trading is sourced and what type of disclosures are made to the contributors.Ignored
DislikedTo be honest, it was not the smartest idea of MFF to follow Funding talent in setting up shop in North America.Ignored

Disliked{quote} That article about FINRA notwithstanding, MFF just states "commodities regulator in the United States". Sounds like CFTC instead of SEC, and maybe the FINRA expansion has nothing to do with this. Also, that new FINRA rule hasn't taken effect yet, and if/when (probably if) it does, firms have a year to comply - meaning not a sudden, immediate freeze on assets and a court date.Ignored
