I have to ask if it's +356% on a $1 or a $1,000,000 account, because deposit size matters. If it's the former then it's not bad for a baby playing. If it's the latter then it's amazingly impressive and you are a trading god who walks among us.

It is ROE - return on investment. Since I'm not trading more than 0.5x leverage, then 365% is (365/2)/50 = +3.65%
(the formula: ROE gained / 2 (because 0.5x is half of 1) and / 50 because max leverage for that coin is 50)

That trade was like 0.17x leverage, so it was not "impressive" haha
The key is that I'm doing 800-2000 trades like that daily, so I just take 0.1% here and 0.01% there, and at the end of the day it is >0.25%
We have a milestone of 0.25% daily

Hey guys how you are doing?

I'm very happy! Finally I have a good PC to make my research! I have AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX CPU!
My PC now has 64 cores CPU, 128GB RAM and 2 x 960GB NVME SSD and and and 4070 NVIDIA card

So now all the calculations using CUDA GPU are EXTREMELY FAST! Everything in seconds! I'm very impressed of that shit haha

p.s. who said trading is not profitable?

I would like to say thank you to Ryan and rick for everything shared in this thread. I've been picking away at trying to become a profitable trader for years. Last year I decided I'm not getting any younger and I'm going to jump in with both feet and work at this until I'm successful. All I have ever known in trading is
price action, patterns, trendlines and support/resistance and I have become quite good at it. But this was not enough, trading still seemed like it was to much of a gamble and I could tell there were things going on behind those candles that I didn't understand. A couple of months ago I was on my binance trading page and noticed a tab with three letters DOM, hahaha. I've been reading lots on volume ever since, realizing there's a lot I don't know and wasn't even aware of. Then binance decided to leave Canada so I was thinking of going back to forex. I thought I would check out FF, I haven't been in here for years. I did a search on volume and found this amazing thread, so thankful. I've read most of the thread and the books and articles that have been shared. Over the years the price action traders I followed would take pride in having no indicators on their charts except for maybe one MA. I'm not going to question whether they are telling the truth or not about their success. I don't like calling anyone a liar but it sure did make me feel like an idiot, "if they can do this why can't I!" Anyway this information that you guys have shared has helped to take away the mystery of what is going on behind the scenes. So thank you to Ryan and Rick, I wish you guys and your amigo's the best!

Sorry for rambling
And to be clear (IMHO) volume is the only path forward

Hey yowhatsup

The secret to Volume trading is always follow strong Delta always regardless of chart direction - but it must however show am imbalance of more than 300% with limit orders running the other way.

Your mission should you decide to ACCEPT THAT CHALLENGE is to find a way to see this Market Order Momentum - then hit the trade button without hesitation.

Good Luck - but what tools do you need?

PS. I'm on a 12 month self-imposed ban from posting on Forex Factory and most other social media as well, time is money.
Catch you guys next year - perhaps.

Hi Rick,
As far as tools go. One of the books I read presented an indicator that the author created but I would have had to use ninja as a trading platform (that didn't excite me). I did find a rudimentary indicator on tradingview that showed delta. A few times I watched small candles explode with delta and the candle didn't move, then a few seconds later they would start trending. As I have read in this post I have more options to explore now such as AAD Research and Quantower.

I understand your self-imposed ban, our loss. Thanks for the tips and I do accept the challenge, gladly

The key is not where to enter (99.99% search for "good entry"), but where to get good EXIT
I'm still searching for it

My friend you're the only real trader I've met. I think it is worth never writing anything anywhere else. Because the more people know your trading style, the worse it will work.
Market imbalance works well when there are few "we_know_how_it_works" around. But if many it will not work that good!

Just a tip on exits (altho i am sure you know anyway) always look left for liquidity zones to target exit positions. Use 4hr tf

And yes 100% right, the more that know what your doing the less effective it will become in the future.

Lets get on zoom sometime when your available and exchange ideas, i like your trading style pal

Regards Terry

Sometimes its too early, but a dead momentum stall with a good 2R or yes major higher tf s/r zones sup/dem zones are great exit criteria. Of course forex is slightly diff than crypto in their behavior so it seems. If it doesnt do at least 2r maybe not a good enough signal to consider. Many of the big shots suggest you should have an exit plan before ever getting in, a target.. It makes sense, and is def more difficult than entering.. Patience is harder than both..

I have been using a very similar system to yours but with fx including maddash indicator market scanner with custom settings to id major distance from moving avgs for reversals, and it works very well in combination with Mladen's TMA on D1 tf, especially with higher level pivots and adr hi/lo levels and or prev day hi/lo zones esp in combination with smc/ict supply/demand price action entries, nothings perfect but the multiple confluence def gives one enough confidence to enter the market and the huge tma distance on d1 typically results in excess of 200 pip swing trades, now to hone the exits.

Good to know that you are also from Canada and you are aware of ban on binance and bybit. I talked to ryuryu many times on this topic and informed him about our bad luck. There are some exchanges who are have permission to trade in Canada but in the end we need volume to trade. So far i couldn't find any. Yes some of them said that they have enough volume but there are two things. I do not trust them on their volume statement because i do not know that how to verify their claim. second is that those exchanges are not allowed to run their trade operations freely. I mean that they have permission with restrictions.

Please let me know if you find some suitable trading exchange?

Thanks

hi folks, i have received couple messages so i publish one thing, which is one developer of ninja trader who made huge contribution of delta and volume trader.
it was huge impact of me how to trade profitable way. its maybe ten years ago. i have only trade using delta and tape. and told this Rick when shortly visited prof farmers set when i told it, and i use horizontal lines what i call crunch lines where i have to be carefull. sorry ruy, but they are not most important : )

so here is one old instrucion, hope it will help some people but use it as caution, this what Rick and Ryan try to help others is very valuable, but volume and delta are crucial information to earn. and its not new, but fx retail trading they want to hide and steal peoples money,

from gom. (ewef what this is published , was hackers crackers forum old days where we test every commercial shit and test they claims9 99% was bullshit)

It can hilight price bars in dependence of delta bars (deep blue color means strong positive delta, light blue - medium positive, gray - neutral, deep red - strong negative, light red - medium negative).
Also it can place additional marks to the price bar, depending of price and delta bars OHLC combination, for example when price and delta rise both, this is assumed as a strong up signal and the price bar is marked by deep green up triangle, when both price and delta go down the price bar is marked by the deep red down triangle. When price and delta are going in different directions this is assumed as a possible price stop or bounce, so price bar is marked by a square.
When delta is neutral the further price movement assumed as undefined and bar is marked by a diamond. I'm using this feature to mark some price bars selected by another indicator, but it seems that it may be useful as a standalone feature. There are some examples at screenshots below.
I do not want to close the source code, so it will be my contribution to the ewef community, feel free to modify it in your needs, but I hope you will keep the copyrights. And of course any kind of feedback is highly appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. recent version of GomCD and GomRecorder code is included within the archive, just anwser no if you do not want to overwrite the existing gomC
