Hello Kibo, can you please assist? this EA doesnt seem to work when applied on chart? Click on buy/sell/close buttons and nothing happens. Thanks.

kindly add on off button to this please. it prints candles like heiken ashi with few added features. is excellent to identify trend.

This is a 'DECOMPILED' file and cannot/may and will not be modified without authorization from the author.
Try get the original "source" file from "Copyright 2012, Dean Malone"
Or ask "Dean Malone" to provide .ex4 file with On/Off button

sir, i am very sorry . i had no idea that this is a decompiled version.
i tried to search for the original "source" file from "Copyright 2012, Dean Malone", even after hrs of search i failed. but i found many modifications of this even on FF (https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...ng-made-simple and many other threads) but all are derieved from the same decompiled version.

i found one version "Copyright 2009, CompassFX and "Arrow/MA filters/Alerts added by BlueRain (FF)". i cannot make out if this is decompiled or not.
but if not, can a on/off switch added to it ?

Dear coders,

Can anyone kindly code a true engulfing candle indicator for MT4 which will detect this double candle formation according to the rules shown in the attached image? (note: only bullish formation criteria are shown in the image)
To be honest I have seen and tried many indicators but none has met my definition of the engulfing candle, and also most of them clutter charts with lots of big arrows.

If possible below settings can be optional in the indicator:

  1. Type of alerts/notifications to be used
  2. Bullish/bearish candle shades (colors)
  3. Minimum timeframe the indicator will scan the formation
  4. No and size of wingdings (if someone else may prefer to use and see them in the charts)

Thanks in advance.

PS: if you know of any similar indi that is already available, please direct me. Thank you

Hi Tintep, the idea of the indicator is correct, except that Fibo is marked on the last candle, before the current price candle and without the 200 and -200 levels, apart from these two details, the indicator is exactly what I imagined.

As in the example below.

Thank you for this! It is a very useful indicator! By the way, I agree with this comment from another member. The fib levels need to be drawn on the previous candle, not the current candle. In addition to what the other member said, it would be helpful if the indicator can detect if it is a bullish or bearish candle, to draw the fib levels in their correct order. If it is a bearish candle, then the levels need to be drawn from the high to the low of the candle, if bullish, then they should be drawn from low to high.
