mmm, an interesting answer you should be a politician

I will take it as "just for fun" then.

I visit FF if I ever have any free time mainly to read the news articles. I have recently been reading crypto forums on here mainly for entertainment reasons, as the crypto buzz seems quite high right now.

if you added an option to your poll that said "1 BTC is worth 1 BTC, totally irrelevant to compare it's value to USD", I'd vote for that ✔

I wear rubber boots if it's raining, and sandals if it's sunny ✌

Hi buddy

Yeah, I'm joking mostly.

But seriously - I did cover all options.

------------

Folks
Please vote on first page.

We know 1 BTC = 1 BTC.

And it's not that BTC appreciates much .... it's the paper trash GOING DOWN

So is relevant

Point is if you hold forever you may as well forget you have BTC and live poorly

I think you're wrong pal, sorry to say

On several fronts.

We are talking year ahead, right.? ?

Technically it can go 5-10 cents up, which is nothing

Now.
Remember Ripple was 2 dollars....
Why is now cheap junk????

2. Ripple is not crypto.
Only morons invest in it..... Old Banks that got bribes years ago dumped that sinking ship too

3. Ripple bosses are going to jail.... I think.
Kinda explains all ehh

I just voted for the price prediction by end of 2021. I believe that Bitcoin can reach 100.000 USD or more for a short period of time in Summer 2021 but we will be in the maximum bubble territory there already. I assume this bubble to implode by August/September 2021 with a sharp decline of 60-70% within a few weeks (maybe days!). So, my price assumption for 31.12.2021 is well below 80.000 USD.

The good news is:

If you time the exit of your BTC holdings well (red zone of rainbow chart) and re-accumulate in the Crypto Winter 2022/2023 (I assume BTC will reach the blue rainbow zone then) it is a perfect chance to double or even triple up the number of Bitcoins you hold in your wallet. With your increased BTC holdings you can then enjoy the fly to 500.000 USD in 2024/2025.

For example: you sell all your BTC at 100.000 USD and buy again at 50.000 USD —> your BTC holdings will double up. If you have the balls to wait for a price drop to 33.333 USD your BTC holdings will triple up, etc.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK said in a stark warning to crypto investors that they should be prepared to lose all of their money.

The warning comes after a day of high volatility on the crypto markets, when some 200 billion USD were wiped out of the combined value of all digital currencies.

“The FCA is aware that some firms are offering investments in crypto assets, or lending or investments linked to cryptoassets, that promise high returns. If consumers invest in these types of product, they should be prepared to lose all their money”, the regulator said, warning that investments and lending products related to crypto come with “very high risks.”

I feel like the "You don't say" Nicolas Cage meme is applicable here...

Hi bud

I think you stress the dark side too much - first everyone knows FCA are incompetent

They approved OneCoin

Second - it's derivatives, lending and margin that's dangerous.

Just HOLDING is the safest way to riches .
I hold loooong time

As to practical matters - if you buy now at 34000 (so cheap yeah ) and hold a regular cycle of 4+1 years what could happen???. Bitcoin 300k??

I'll live with that.

Now....
Let's say, can Bitcoin crash to 15-20k.
Yes - buy super cheap

Crash to 1000 dollars??
Why, is there some flaw in Bitcoin that was hiding 12 years now??

Simple

Interesting story... .

I spoke with some half-intelligent dumbo (he does own bitcoin ) who had that PERFECT solution to Bitcoin keys problem - he printed his key (about 56 characters) on paper, cut it 3 times with scissors and deposited in 4 banks (banks safes).

Sure, I said, dumbo.
What about when 1 bank burns down or they steal your 1/4 key. What then???

The moron went speechless

Hi dumbo, I continued, what about when they open your safe, realize it's part of Bitcoin key, and just replace it with another bunch numbers???

Then (after months to lose tracks) they'll call you on the phone to negotiate 50% of your holdings

They don't need the other 3 parts
You won't know which part is fake

Dumbo, now smarter , went running to the banks
Thanks to me

You're wrong pal.

You forget what Bitcoin is : a totally secure solid money that no bank can stop and no government can seize

If what you say is true.... Say YOUR GOVAMAAANT has a backup of your keys and funds (Bitcoin) then what's stopping the govamaaant to steal from you, to inflate the supply or to just ban your assets????

Attached Image

In short - if you relinquish personal responsibility and your Bitcoin, you may as well use the govamaaant paper trash????

Why use Bitcoin if you trust govamaaant

Bitcoin is both independence and responsibility
