The paper trash ATM in my area started chargin money.
1-2 dollars to withdraw.

This I found in 2012 records :

The fees for withdrawing money from your ATM machines are expected to double, even triple.
You're gonna pay two to three as much to withdraw your money so basically the ATM machines have become full service.

I pay 20-30 cent for my Bitcoin transactions.

I'll pay around 1 cent with LN.

The political institution, along with banks, more particularly central banks, are the major institutions that, if they feel the need to do it, will block bitcoin and other private crypto's from taking over the financial services within the global economy.
Central Banks may adopt or adjust the current crypto model if they feel the need to do it.

If they don't feel the need to do it, then they won't.

If it ever reaches the point where it hits bank profits too hard, or taxes become too difficult to track and trace, major powerful countries start having difficulty paying their debts due a significant drop in declared income and subsequent tax receipts, then action will be taken.

Bitcoin is very volatile, so it's purchasing power is very unpredictable. If this continues, then that will create it's own obvious problems for those being paid for their labour in bitcoin, and buying groceries in bitcoin.
Imaging getting paid in bitcoin at the beginning of the week, then doing your shopping with that bitcoin at the end of the week, and finding out your bitcoin has lost 10% of it's value.
Too bad for the worker.

Good luck in your trading, but Bitcoin has no long term future, unless the institutions I talked about before gain control of it.

Bitcoin was created after the financial crises.
It's creator knew that many would want to take it up as the US Government began printing so much money and devaluing the $

But, it is not a sustainable model for the global economy.

However, Bitcoin's creator knew it would make him incredibly rich as he knew people would find it a popular idea, and skyrocket it's value.

It's limited supply and rewarding others for mining and releasing more bitcoin, virtually ensures it's success as a trading or mid term investment.

But that is it.

It has no long term, sustainable future as a competitor against the controlling institutions who make and enact law.

But this does not relate to my argument that bitcoin has no long term future as a serious competitor that will disrupt and disturb the institutionalised banking mechanism of the global economy. Bitcoin makes up such a tiny, tiny proportion of global transactions, that even a 10 year chart does not dictate it's long term potential as an alternative currency to bank issued currency. You see, you can't even stick to the topic, you just keep ranting and raving about bitcoin's up trend. I'm not talking about trading and profit, I am talking about sustainable future.
