Markets rolled over.
FED did its performance and markets hope for a rate cut in July (and even more this Year) and all priced in now in last Week rally

Markets wait for Trump/Xi meeting now @ G20 end of the Week.

I'm not that stupid to think that they will reach an agreement then. To many huge idiological differences to agree in a few Hrs.

The best they can reach is an agreement they will start talking again. But these talks can take Years

DOW is not moving down further now.

My DAX Stop (solid) MA line is still to far away from the dotted slower Swing MA line, so still very Bullish channel. I expect a pop again in the DAX up to last week POC again maybe (300>320)

The little Bears are not gone win this down move I think.

Just reversed to buying Dax after that spike testing Friday's low was followed by a HL on M1

If it breaks trough the 250/240 I wil l short it again, but needs a DOW drop too.

Agreed re Dow, which is IMO already showing signs of turning back up and needs to break above its Daily Pivot which held it a few mins ago

These Hrs are the worsed Hrs to trade. Don't try to fabricate trades now. Better moments/set ups will come.

US markets are on/or close to rec highs

GOLD keeps lifting up. Above $1400 now. Money looks for risk aversion. Cash is King now

Looks logic to me that markets will be sideways now and wait for a new trigger to launch it in whatever direction.

Trump should leave the Fed alone and reset foreign policy if he hopes to be reelected

President Donald Trump’s quest for four more years in office crucially depends on a strong economy and sound fundamentals of U.S. equity markets.
One can safely assume that Trump knows that. But it is far from clear whether he knows how to achieve that outcome.



To begin with, the worst thing he can do for his presidential campaign is to keep tweeting his attacks, hugely amplified by the media, on the leadership of the U.S. Federal Reserve and its monetary policy.
Trump has no reason to do that.
In the first two weeks of this month, the Fed has injected $35.5 billion of fresh funds, sharply reversing a carefully calibrated pattern of $114 billion in liquidity withdrawals since the beginning of the year.

Those reading a note of caution in the Fed’s decision not to rush into interest rate cuts have a plausible point. U.S. labor markets remain strong, real disposable household incomes continue to grow at an annual rate of 2.4% and credit costs are at historically low levels – the three variables that drive more than 80% of the U.S. economy.
Trump, therefore, may wish to pause his Fed tweets, leaving his economic advisors to discuss monetary policy with their central bank colleagues.

Trump should leave the Fed alone and have the Fed watched by his economic advisors.
He should concentrate instead on issues of China trade and peace in the Persian Gulf. Escalating trade disputes and new bouts of violence in the Middle East would lead to a flare-up of commodity prices, driving up the U.S. inflation and confronting the Fed with policy choices Trump might not like in the course of his election campaign.


The economic problem with China is clear and simple: America’s intolerably high trade deficits, China’s allegedly illegal trade practices and reportedly a limited access of U.S. firms to Chinese markets.

The solution is very simple: Tell China that the U.S. wants balanced trade accounts over a specific time horizon. The time frame can be negotiated, but with very little concession in view of America’s half-a-trillion dollar annual deficits.

Trump, therefore, should tell China’s President Xi Jinping — the man he calls his friend — that he is in a hurry to see China’s exports to the U.S. brought to roughly the same level of American exports to China.

For the rest, Beijing should be on notice that the U.S. will apply strict rules of reciprocity, and that any illegal trade practices will be dealt with through American laws and the World Trade Organization arbitration procedures.

Since that 50+ pts rally off NY Open - got 40+ there, that consolidation area from Friday afternoon, with a POC 26,808 cash on my charts is still holding. I've had two sells off that area and banked each time as the various SS levels held. Hit and run for me, especially for shorts....

NB My M 1 chart has wicks and tails everywhere, always an indication of another consolidation

DAX H&S pattern still in tact but in a bullish Swing channel.
Maybe time to fill the last Week TPO pocket after a pop to this Week Dev POC first. HIT! Target reached @ +0.25%/12.260 and Dev W POC.

Traders getting little worried about G20 outcome/Iran problems/FED rate cut(s) Yes or No?.

Iran said on Tuesday that a U.S. decision to impose sanctions on the country's supreme leader and other top officials permanently closed the path to diplomacy between Tehran and Washington.

China stocks fell on Tuesday after a long streak of gains as worries mounted that the United States and China would make little headway in trade talks this week, while economic concerns hit banking shares. **China's blue-chip CSI300 index was down 2.1%

GOLD still on the move to the North. Risk aversion/hedging.

The dollar hit a multi-month low against the euro and the yen on Tuesday on the prospects of monetary easing by the Federal Reserve while the safe-haven Swiss franc and gold rose on Middle East tensions.
