but indeed the funny thing is , they can issue as many cryptos as they like , nobody would care less

I do not think of it as full of lies. Governments realize that cryptocurrency is catching on with people. Either they start their own or buy others out and make them their own. We ha Israel announce something similar earlier in December as well.

Yes, they are feeling the heat so they either lose out to others, buy out competitors or start their own.

well said , but any crypto issued or controlled by any central bank is doomed

so your 1st option is the only real option :

they will lose out to others ie the free marketplace : the worst enemy of central banks , governments , state-controlled economies , centrally-planned economies , regimes , establishments , politics

I meant making money from OS in general. That why I mentioned Bill Joy, author of BSD Unix and Sun Microsystem cofounder.
Few notes.
Linux != Unix. Linus Torvalds wrote his own kernel based on A. Tanenbaum's Minix OS.
Yes, Unix Edition 7, the first industrial release appeared in 1979, two years before IBM PC.
Concerning moving all machines to Linux. The only Windows that I have is an emulator on Mac under which I run MT4. All other boxes at home and in the cloud are BSDs and Linuxes.

maybe better not to invest in a BTC Investment Trust , would be much better to invest directly in BTC

but i would be careful going long BTC atm , as a short term top may be undergoing

The attraction of crypto to central banks is that they can completely eliminate the need to print, handle and account for 'paper' money. No more ATMs, got to be good for thwarting the smash-and-grab brigade, and it returns control to the real criminals professionals.

Try registration with broker or exchange. 0.25-2% fee.
ATM for buying bitcoin 3.5% fee.
Work for crypto.
Buy in person.
Buy from website doing escrow work for u.

In forex - 1-3 weeks.

In crypto it's like 3-5 hours

i'm thinking of throwing a couple hundred......maybe a thousand bucks into cryptocurrencies (just a gamble)........hope you guys here can enlighten me a little........

1) so i got to buy Bitcoin 1st before i use it to buy a cryptocurrency, right ?

2) what if i have a little Bitcoin leftover after buying a cryptocurrency (since prices are so volatile) ? or what if i'm just a little short on Bitcoin (again, since prices change so quickly)............what do i do with the excess Bitcoin ?

3) so can i set stoploss / profit target for cryptocurrency ?...........and after selling it, where do the money go to ?

Hi Findcount

I live in Europe and was able to open a coinbase account. I transferred money over from my fiat bank a/c and once on my coinbase a/c I was able to buy as much BTC, LTC or ETH as my fiat would go. Once bought, your coinbase a/c will show how much BTC etc you own, this fluctuates daily according to the market.

Coinbase is user friendly so no big worry there.

I wanted to buy some alt coins so opened a holytransaction a/c . Once opened I was able to buy other coins using the ETH Id bought using coinbase. You transfer these over from coinbase to your holytransacton a/c. Again, the platform / exchange is user friendly, takes a while to figure it out but once you get it its fine.

I meant get a job with some geeks, that will actually PAY YOU in crypto. Save the bankers, fee etc contraptions.
