Oups, that sucks, 70% of bitcoin is mined by the Chinese, you know, that great tactics to undermine the US dollar supremacy
But crypto fundamentals are dead trapped in the crypto trilemma anyway.
Now bitcoin remain just a tool of hate against the powerful, a tool for criminals, millionaire tax evaders, anarchists, communists, terrorists, traffickers, McAfee silly trumpets... and their victims, fools !

Hehe, like the nuclear fusion, crypto is the future ...and it always will be !

Crypto is already banned for use in China and all Bitcoin ATMs were removed so I'm surprised that some "local" governments will ban mining

Bitcoin went up by $133 today but it had lost more than 4 times that yesterday.

Crypto privacy imbecile suporters don't even realise that ?!?

Wide acceptability for bitcoin is nonsense anyway. Blockchain technology for money it's not sustainable, never was.... LN is not safe, ...exchanges not safe nor decentralized... same crypto shitty trilemma, ...but still lotta dumb crypto fanatics and big mouth liars around

Today's Crypto News has an article that states the "Crypto Could Threaten US Geo Political Power". If this is the case the big winner would be Russia because of its national debt to GDP ratio of less than 15%. Comparing that ratio to that of the US which is over 106% and to other western countries Russia is looking pretty good. Of course, like China, Russia doesn't want the USD to be replaced by crypto since it would lose its advantage of reserve currency. On the other hand, the US also doesn't want crypto to replace the USD since this would lead to hyper inflation. So don't be surprised to see the US following the lead of China and Russia in banning crypto If we lose reserve currency status our motto of "The land of the free" would go down the tube with our currency This is not a good prospect

Maybe the US will ban the crypto too, but I wouldn't be so sure about hyperinflation Hyperinflation is most of all a symptom of a systemic underperforming economy and it could manifest itself at some point as excessive intervention in monetary supply as they try to prevent spiraling collapse of the economy... but in a developed economy the central banks can also burn money not only just print money. (C19 is an accident, not systemic ...banking is systemic, but it's ok )

One thing the Russo-Chinese will never grasp ever is that the economic power lies in freedom not in total control.
That's why the success of socialism (totalitarianism, authoritarian regime, oligarchy, whatever..) is unsubstantial and temporary at the historical scale and that's why it's rather unlikely to kneel down the US supremacy whatever they try
In order to achive consistent durable success, they need to reform themselves not to attack the US!

Russia is an imperfect democracy still in the infantile state but it's steadily improving and, unlike the US, is not spending money willy nilly as if there is no tomorrow. Being great producing nations Japan and the US should easily be able to balance their budgets and produce large surpluses that could be used to repay their large national debts but, unfortunately, this is not the case. This is exclusively due to "political reasons" but just like Weimar Germany in the 1920s the party cannot last forever and the money printing press will have to stop when the trust in their currencies will be exhausted and hyper inflation will start.

China and Russia are not attacking the US, the US is committing financial suicide on its own by letting the FED dictate the financial policies of the country for the benefit of the few. On the FED web site you will see that China got rid of over $1 trillion of Treasury Bonds since last year and that Russia, being more clever than the Chinese, totally got rid of the US Treasury Bonds that it had. Now the biggest foreign holder of US Treasury Bonds is Japan. I hope that the political authorities of my country will come to their senses and reverse the catastrophic financial policies of the country before it's too late. Unfortunately there will be a high political price to pay for this to happen and our standard of living will have to go down because of more taxation and less services.
