Yesterday it did not go down to hit any of the other bounce points so, no other trade... just the initial two, one with -1.5 and other with +8.0 points.

Today, its the same buy bounce points only, 3 of them which din't get hit yesterday... No Sell bounce point, there is nothing above ! There is the all time high in reach...

Long Bounce Points: 3454, 3434, 3424

Will take the trades manually around these levels, will post here when I do so...

Hahaha... that was a freak, one of a kind trade... I will tell you how it happened...

I had decided to go short once it hits 3500 and closes below it on a one minute candle... On the first minute (after hitting 3500) it closed at 3500.60, after second minute it closed straight at 3502.59, after the third minute it closed at 3503.91, after the fourth minute it closed at 3505.06 (till this time my mental entry was close below 3501.55) but on the fourth candle there was a wick on top till 3506.21... so I decided if it touches 3506.21 again on the fifth candle I will place a market order. (with a 1.5 point SL) .. and it did and I placed it manually and the entry I got was 3508.12... !!

It was just a reflex...

I'm really glad I asked, thanks for the reply! Starting another funded account, think I may try to experiment with your fixed SL/tp rule as I've been tracking you since you were posting in the "main" Gold forum and its helped me learn a lot... although, still trying to fully grasp fractals especially with MT5.

Glad that you are finding it useful : )

Yes experiment with the Fixed SL/TP rule and also another rule of thumb : Never increase your SL and never reduce your TP
(So, SL can be decreased as much as you like, and TP can be increased as much as you like), just this practice alone with ANY entry system will make sure you never lose again

Thank you so much for this reminder. You activated a memory I didn't know I had as this is my main issue currently; great win rate (usually between 68 and 75%), terrible RR (Less than 1:1). I have the issue of cutting winners and holding losers.

While I have you active I have also been wondering for quite a while: what percentage of your account are you risking per trade? and what exactly is a "point" for you? With gold, are we defining this as pips, dollars, something else? thanks for your time.
