Well, that tweet doesn't say anything about whether the draft says anything regarding a timeline. If the draft says something like "war efforts will deescalate", that could be the same as Gaza....90% of the activity for an indefinite amount of time....and still be "allowed" by the draft.

But, let's face it: the reason we (if "we" can be used to include a wide swath of less than content traders) are at all bitter here is that we haven't been making (enough?) money during this process. We feel rational thought should be used when looking at markets.

What we haven't realized is that we need to throw that playbook out the window and just take what the market(s) are willing to give us (speaking of my own book at the moment).

It's just so hard not to look at the situation and say 'where is the fear', when it seems that fear would drive the markets with the US in a war. Because, that is the narrative the countries WANT us to believe. The REALITY, however, is in the tape action that has been slapping all of us pragmatists in the face for the past 9 weeks.

It's a painful ride on the other side of a seemingly unstoppable market. I hope the best for everyone during these low VIX stretches.
