As Powell mic drops today's FOMC conference with a "More months of elevated energy and uncertain global inflation incoming? Happy trails Mr. Warsh....good luck with all of that!"

It's all negotiation tactic though: scare Iran into thinking it's real. But "they" don't seem to scare easily since this 2-6 week (Trump timeline) campaign is still ongoing. Time will tell though.

FWIW: Hard to believe markets think this is an issue though. Oil is up to nearly $105 but equities just off their all time highs. Today will be interesting. You've got new (recent) highs in oil. /ZB slipping a bit. FOMC handoff/meeting/conference. Huge tech earnings incoming.

.....lots of potential "scapegoats" incoming with a "save" possible from the White House if a deal is struck after earnings crash stuff? We'll see.
