That’s off topic but calling him a deal maker is a lot like calling Jeffrey Epstein a friend of young women (I’d be remiss to mention his best friend was in fact DJT for years though). “Here’s an atomic energy deal. On replacing Powell… once that happens, the transformation of U.S. to let’s say Burma will be complete. Cutting short term rates is not going to help, unless there’s liquidity crunch. They’ll still do it, they know nothing else - because how could anyone wish for normalcy i.e. a normal recession. Capitalism is effectively dead and now Trump wants to sodomize it too. Tell me you don't understand anything about how the US Federal Reserve works without telling me...

I do understand the frustration that comes after the last FOMC meeting, I do understand that high interest rates aren't fun, but the Fed took the decision to keep interest rates high for a good reason. They wanted to wait a little more in order to have a clearer picture of the impact the recent trade policy will have, that's it.

Also, you guys really need to understand that it ISN'T Powell alone who takes these decisions. The Fed operates through a committee hence 'Federal Open Market Committee' and rate decisions are made through a vote. It's not like Powell just walks in there and decides unilaterally, "Let's keep the rates high for longer, I like seeing Trump angry."

Instead we have another 2.5 trillion on top of an already unsustainable debt . Sounds great , considering conservatiism used to be free markets, traditional values and good bookkeeping . This and many previous administrations are way off the mark .

In 2015 the US and Iran negotiated a 'deal' where Iran would agree to perpetual inspections and a cap of 4.5% enrichment of uranium but then the US government refused to ratify the deal.
In all of the Trump (who you can't trust to keep his word) presentation, completely removing sanctions isn't on the table and it is the only thing Iran wants.
Here's another fun fact. The 2nd largest religious demographic in Iran is Judaism. Iran supports both synagogues and schools for their Jewish citizens. Iran's problem isn't with the Jewish people, it's with Israel that keeps bombing Iran and trying to wipe out non-jewish people from Israel which in turn is what the US uses to keep sanctions on Iran so that US politicians can skim money off the aid to Israel.

Youre wrong. The problem with people like you, is you think you understand economics but you dont. In plain words you are stupid at economics. Powell needs to shut up and cut rates, at least by 25bps. If he continues like this, Trump will find a reason to replace him.
