All of yuo who traded SHOULD made good profits!Ignored
Quoting CrestwindDislikedOh yes this is a market mover!!! I enter long before the news on NZD/USD @ .6420. Exited at .6454. +34 pips. 34$ on my mini account. That puts a smile on my face after my big loss this morning on the US trade balance.Ignored
Quoting drcole1DislikedGood trades, guys, Me to on that USD trade balance. Lost a bit on that one.
Just good psychology....don't ever try to MAKE UP for a bad trade, just put it behind you and refine your technique.

Quoting forexplayerDislikedHi,
Any reason why you went long before the release? tia.Ignored
Quoting CrestwindDislikedWell I have been placing my trades before the spike trying to catch the whole spike, and then enter a reversal position thats twice my first order if it goes the other way. This way if the market goes against me it will close my trade and open a trade in that direction. Lately this has not worked so well since I have been getting slippage and some releases go one way and then go the other stopping me out on both orders, so I just decide to read reports before the news and decided which way I think the market will go based on that. Just set a s/l and let it go. For big reports like the NFP and the interest decision, I plan to have a reversal order in place to reverse my postion if the markets moves against me. Worked out well this time.Ignored
