I am not sure about the whole shorting atm... For me it seems gold formed a falling wedge and I will be long if upper TL breaks...

I am no great technician but arent we a bit too high in XAU with China risks out of the way? This is a downtrend afterall, we have US payrolls in the afternoon?

To really understand Gold, look at USD/JPY they go opposite, when usd/jpy breaks support gold breaks resistance. they go opposite...the technical may not be active when fundamental has taken a new look

Shorted gold at 1104.15. It's below the 100-DMA of 1105.72, and is 138.2% fib retracement (1104.68) of the December 3rd and 4th moves.
If it closes below 1100 in the US session, probably will fall more of momentum and possible green day tomorrow in indicies.

(I'm not giving a trading recommendation, just my opinion and position). Trade safe.

Closed a little better than BE. Today's candle seems very bullish, it seems risk aversion is back at least before ECB.

I am looking at the daily chart! Since early december XAU/USD has been making higher lows. RSI in both 14 and 30 timeframe turned bullish in the last week and MACD crossed to positive territory and hasn't let up since.

Of course! My tp is there (breakeven)

It has helped gold that generally speaking it's getting help from the whole global stock market because it kinda topped and is now in a downtrend. Just my thoughts though

IMHO just intraday PA,
resistance point; so it is more volatile here...

If Gold was "acting right" it would be much higher, than it is presently, with everything happening right now.

It just touched 50% of move down from Mid Oct swing high. Let's see what happens now.
