Hi all,

I am playing with an ea and I am running into a problem where it just stops taking trades. It does this randomly. I have tried to see in the code what is the problem but I am not a coder and so I have been unable to fix it. The EDA has a start and stop time and in that time it can open x trades and when this closes then a cycle completes. It is set to allow only 1 cycle per time period.

Can someone look at this code to see what the problem is please. Many thanks for any help

Yes, I've looked around...it looks harder then it looks. Forexsaint have some, but for some strange reason they don't work with me.

The thing I need is not a trailer, it's just a an automatic TP and SL. I want to place a TP and a SL wit (Y) pips as soon as I open a position.

If this has been asnwered or someone know where can I get this kind of indicator, please post me in the right direction.

I would like to have an indicator that will signal (alert, mail and arrows on the chart) when X bars have crossed above or below a MA.
The MA should have all the regular settings (close, open, etc. for price, smoothed, EMA, etc.) and the X number of bars after the initial cross should also be customizable.

For example, with the following settings:
MA: 10EMA, 0 shift, close price
X-Bars: 10
The indicator will signal after 10 bars have passed from the initial crossing of the MA, no need for all of them to be above or below the MA, just X bars after the initial crossing.

Any one with an ADX whose value line changes color for up and down. D+ and D- dont need to change color. A double color histogram of the up and down value line movements independent of the D+ or D- will also do

Theres no point in posting a snippet of code and hope someone can spot the problem. I can see several things I would do different but may or may not be the cause of your problem.
If you want help with it post the the mq4 file and I will test it.

may be because it is not that useful. So I tried to learn indicators from mql4 book and wrote my first indicator. But it is not doing
