Correction completed and downtrend resumed. IMO new multi year lows soon enough:

Likely enough.

Looking at various views and interpretations. . . .

Daily RSI I was looking higher at 0.786 for pattern completion, may have missed it. . . Alternative looking at complete pattern breakdown or retest at stronger resistance. Was thinking bull trap pop, now thinking maybe bear trap, bull trap pop either way difficult place to call

i see quite a few posters here talking about prices falling.

Do they know the physical demand for gold and silver?
Do they know how tight the physical supply is?
Do they know the premiums for gold and silver on the Shanghai exchange?
Do they know where COTS are actually positions in the futures market?

If they did they would not be saying it is going to keep falling.

Think markets mostly agendas and algorithms and not all that rational, also don't think there any limitations on how irrational they can get. Markets always manage to cause shock and disbelieve, variable to take into consideration. . . . . .

I always avoid major news like FOMC. What if they had surprised and actually made a rate move.

Very often reaction goes one way then reverses the other direction.

You might of been filled and then tossed out.

Too risky for me.

BTW on my chart 16.01 was hit 15 minutes before action. On the news it first went down to 15.94 then went for the day's high.
