IMHO, Failure to break $1225 could pullback the Yellow metal prices during Friday a break of $1207 become decisive to foresee near-term decline of the yellow metal.

Currently majority of my bearish lines are breaking down, bullish lines are getting better hits at the moment. . .

Im with on your boxed areas of interest 1224-26 and 1240-50 areas as from my angle those areas are the quarterly and yearly trend guides still pushing south.
However, the daily , weekly and monthly are pushing up from the 1202-11 area.

Agree that $1225-27 is a confluence of resistance and considering the recent weaker USD, chances are higher that the yellow metal may surpass the same.

Update.

Our first Buying Aggression Zone has closed as price traversed through it and closed lower. No trade was signaled: no harm, no foul. In the process, a couple of Selling Aggression Zones have formed.

XAGUSD Has an Event Bar Double indicating a long 2 Hr Trend is beginning
in this market which should push the Day trend back into Green mode.

Also the DX might be resuming its down trend this week?
