Are you sure? Perhaps your S2 is way down or it doesn't show well because it's a bit dark green. With regards to the letters, I don't really want them on the chart due to clutter but maybe someone else can fix it for you (i.e. I don't know how to do it properly).

I have checked and you are absolutely right. It was much lower down so I missed it.

Would be great to now have the labels......any takers?

Hi TraderJoe,
When I save this indicator as part of chart template and when apply same template to other charts or reopen same chart, then indicator does not work.
Indicator is shown in List of indicators on the chart, however it does not draw lines on the chart and hence does not throw any alert.
I have reattached indicators here.
Please look into it if it is not much trouble.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your feedback.
It works well, be sure to select "line chart" in the Properties tab. (Right clic on chart, Properties, select "Line chart", OK ).

Right click on the chart to bring up a window then select "Properties"
Make sure that you uncheck " Chart on foreground"

On Basket Trading EA or Dashboard Trading EA...With the BUY/SELL Basket Trading buttons/tabs lot of other info is available.
Instead of other info... is there any EA...which shows only BUY/SELL tabs..only BUY/SELL tabs...no other info. So that we can use it as Trade pad

I use to trade morning (European time) forex breakouts. It would help me to have a simple tool that draws:
- a rectangle: length = adjustable (in my case 8:00pm of previous day to 6:00am of today, GMT time); width = the max-min range of the time lenght; the size of the range (pips) should be shown somewhere.
- two lines, one above the max of the range (distance between this line and the max of the range = max-min range) and one below the min of the range (distance between this line and the min of the range = max-min range). Each horizontal line should show the price number of pips from the max (upper line) or the min (lower line). The two lines should be plotted from the beginning to the end of the trading day.
A plus: make possible to move the lines by setting the distance from the max or the min of the range (e.g. 100% = one time the range, 200% = two times the range,...); even better if the distance of the two lines may be tweeked independently.

The image shows what I am looking for (color of rectangle and lines, style of lines, position of numbers, etc. are not critical).

Anybody knows if something similar is already available? If not, any help (which is really appreciated, as usual)?

I'm trying to understand the algorithm to this code and I hope that someone can help. This code is an unusual type of ZigZag formula that displays semaphores on the chart. All other ZigZag codes that I've seen use variations of the ATR function, but this uses depth, deviation and backstep. My intention is to translate it into ThinkScript for the ThinkOrSwim platform, but I am completely overwhelmed by the MetaQuote code syntax. So maybe if I can get an explanation of the logic within the code, maybe I can develop it myself.

Hi everybody,

I trade Renko charts. I would like to have an indicator (MT4) that will display the daily Open Price as a horizontal line on my chart. I know about the "Daily open line" indicator which does exists for MT4 and that is precisely what I am looking for, but just one that will work on Renko (or non-time based) charts.

Due to the fact that Renko bars don't necessarily start at the start of a new day, the "daily open line " indicator don't always shows on the chart.

What I also would like to have in the "Renko Daily open line" indicator is, to show the Daily open price and not the open price of the 1st renko bar that is formed in the new day. This is not that important as having the Daily open line on every day but will be real nice to have.

Here are some screenshots with hopefully more information on what I need.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.

Can somebody help me to change a indicator please, which has mtf function to interpolate?
Example: The mtf Indi is on a M1 chart but set to M5. Indicatorlines are shown like stairsteps.

How can I change the mql, or add the function to get smoothed lines for that example?

Paid some money for it, but the coder stopped working. So I try to do it.
Hope I just have to put in some more lines into the mql code. But what lines ?
Is it to hard for a beginner?
