Disliked{quote} Attached. It passed the strategy tester. {quote} This is what happens if I tick off the "offline chart" option in the chart settings, after a while איק "M2, Offline" changes to "H1" which is the default when you first open a chart in MT4. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} ok, thanks for your experiance. I have several EAs running on forward testing for more than a year now, some less. At this point is demo forward testing. I am thinking of building a EA that would run on a live platformS(several live accounts with different brokers) and the EA would just write the signals and outcome, not trade it. Yeah i know I have several issues to consider (trade timeout and perhaps broker canceling me after few months?) but that doesnt bother me at this point. I think this is relatively nice plan to play the forward...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yep, There is a bug oin the release provided by Math Trader. All his files are in .ex4 format, so I can not provide my expertise and my skills to correct the code if there is someone able to provide some code in MQ4, I will be able to drastically improve it (I am the administrator of beathespread.com)Ignored
Disliked{quote} 1. Math has done one hell of a job working on his own code, providing numerous version on requested changes. 2. Exactly, what bugs do you speak of? If there is/are, (and I am not testing to verify if there is or isn't), posting those here would be of benefit to all testing. 3. There is a Basic version provided in the 6th post of this thread, why not use your mad skills on that? 4. The triggering logic of this EA, entries and exits...there isn't much to this, for an all star coder. 5. Nobody has posted at Beahespread.com in 3 weeks...it has...Ignored
Dislikedi would like to report some bug when using renko hunter in demo trading: some trades are not triggered some are not properly closed {image}Ignored
(iMA(NULL, NULL,21,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current) > iMA(NULL, NULL,50,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current) <-Longs (iMA(NULL, NULL,21,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current) < iMA(NULL, NULL,50,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current) <-Shorts.
Disliked{quote} The entry on this chart is correct. If check 3rd bar=true, it wouldn't have taken the trade. Check the conditions. Close[2]>Open[2]&&Close[1]>Open[1]&&Close[1]>MA21&&Close[1]>MA50. All of those conditions were met and the trade was executed. If you want to wait for confirmation, then waiting until Close[3]<Open[3] would have nullified the conditioning as it was the 3rd consecutive buy candle that closed above the Moving Averages.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Can't help you on the closing issues...but I think I can shed some light on the missed entries. Pure speculation here, but I am only guessing that you are using the second version of Renko Hunter, right? And in that... I am guessing that Peter used his first version when he created the second one, and left these lines of code in place for determining trends: (iMA(NULL, NULL,21,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current) > iMA(NULL, NULL,50,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current) <-Longs (iMA(NULL, NULL,21,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current) < iMA(NULL, NULL,50,0,MODE_EMA,PRICE_CLOSE,current)...Ignored
