DislikedTim_isoara -> First, stop insulting and stop assuming! I don't trade news. I trade trends but my stop loss orders get hit with the unjustifiable spread increases that occur at Oanda even when there is no news in any currency in that pair. Second, do you understand what is bid, ask & close? Do you understand that spread = ask - bid and that the price chart you're looking at is bounded within bid-ask prices? Do you realize that if the price of a pair ranges say 150 pips in 5 seconds that means that within the 5 second interval, the max ask is the...Ignored
DislikedThank you for your advice! Yes, I will try to constantly learn. I've learnt that I need a ECN forex broker that does not have a dealing desk and that charges commissions rather than widening the bid-ask spread. I see that you're an Elliottician (from your posts). Good luck ....Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have 3 ecn accounts with different brokers and I have 2 accounts with market maker no dealing desk at Oanda and DMMFX. And all 5 are OK. But ECN accounts widening the bid-ask spread, also. Good luck.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Tim, can I know what are your ECN accounts and which do you highly suggest. Thanks!Ignored
Disliked{quote} You are a idiot/liar in trading. On a standard lot of usd/jpy 40pips is 338$ that is a risk of 84.5%. because you have 400$. Your loss is 84,5% every time when your SL is hit..

Disliked{quote} If you have read all my posts, my forex account is 10,000. On that particular trade, while you would put up $3,030 with the broker, I put up $400. You really should pay better attention.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You would think, but only 10% of my capital is with broker, so I simply send over whatever amount I want to risk on the trade. So if I want to trade 1 lot of USDJPY with a 40 pip stop, I transfer $400 to the broker for that trade, even though margin required is $200. Here in US, even though my risk is $400, I have to put up $3,030, it's absolutely ridiculous.Ignored
Disliked{quote} $400 is not my trading capital, it is only what I CHOOSE to deposit with broker,Ignored
