Hi,
i have been following threads of MTF stochastic trading systems and many others that are about stochastics and i think that trading with stochastic indicator over multiple timeframes is one of the best trading system i've found. I've also found many custom made indicators that show different timeframe stochs on one chart and that's all thank to you who share them for free.
Now to the point. The only problem with this system is that i have to watch the charts all day long to get 1,2,3 good trades a day (i mean that all the stochs line up in the same way). So i was wondering if someone know an indicator or maybe even can make one that gives me a sound alert when, considering the spud's system, all the stochs line up in order ? For instance, 4H stochs are hooking up, 1H stochs are up, 30M stochs are up and 15M chart is where i get the alert when they gross upwards and only then i get a sound alert ? I have an indicator that gives me an alert (i think i still have it) when a certain stochs are crossing but i would like to filter out those alerts(crosses) that are not cooperating with larger time frames.
This indicator would save me lots of time spending on the sceen and therefore gives me more free time to learn more about FX trading
A very big thank you if someone can help me out.
I really don't know anything about coding an indicator but maybe it should generate alerts like this:
1) Indicator looks for the largest time frame stoch crosses (up or down)
2) When confirmed then it goes to one step smaller timeframe and waits for a gross to the same way or if it already is in the same way then moves to nr 3.
3) When confirmed it goes again to one step smaller timeframe (just like point nr 2) and acts the same.
4)Finally when it is at the smallest stochs that you choose (in my case 15M) and gives an alert when the stochs gross at the same way like the larger TF ones or the stochs already are at that way.
This might be a little confusing so i attached an image as well to show you when the alerts should be (red lines) if your smallest TF is 15M. Those arrows are from a 5M stoch cross, don't pay much attention to that. It just shows that if you used 5M stoch you might have gotten in the trade earlier but as we know, 5M charts give more fakeouts as well.
