I think so, if you want it to open trades in the backtester. But if you change alle the timeframes to the current timeframe (0) it would not make sense because that would change the ea-logics. So I assume the only way to test it is the forward-test on a demo or live account.

Hi,
I am looking for an EMA cross alert. Below are the rules,

1. Buy alert when EMA (6) crosses SMA (50) upwards.
2. Sell alert when EMA (6) crosses SMA (50) downwards.

I already have indicator. Its not triggering email. Please make this work to trigger email. Also please make time frame as an input parameter.

If you could make this into an EA it will be a great help.

I am trading in GCI MT4 in NSE_Nifty.

I did not code or modify it, I only compiled it using the build 509 compiler.
If it does not work anymore pls. contact the author or ask at mql5.com/en/job for example

next time you should attach the mq4 files, it is annoying to search for them ...

if I remember right there are no other indicators used. since I do not have the mq4-file anymore I am not able to have a closer look

Hey Guys,

a friend of mine got an idea for a little EA he wants to test, but he doesn't speak english so i have to put his request here:

Conditions:
one trade per candle, at the open

buy: if last candle was bearish, open buy position at beginning of new candle, TP must be adjustable, SL should be last candle low, breakeven + x pips when reaching y pips would be nice.

sell would be the exact opposite:
last candle bullish, open sell position at beginning of new candle, TP adjustable, SL last candles high, breakeven + x pips when reaching y pips would be nice.

Unfortunately, i am not capable of coding EAs, therefore i'm very happy if someone could code this little thingy.

it is decompiled code (you can see this when looking at the variable-names) ...

hey roszey..... that is just the sidus/bagovino indicator were someone has changed the name.....

search sidus's or bagovino's threads on ff..... there were several ea's written already......

fast ma above slow ma and rsi > 50 == buy.... fast ma below slow ma and rsi < 50 == sell .......h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

I am still trying to setup my MT5 application with the same tools as in MT4, and I am getting there, slowly.
