for those who have patience the price in the daily graph has broken the MA 20...

here are the results, according to barchart, if someone follow this method in gold...

the ma 20 is one of the most profitable systems in gold... so simple

XAU/USD
Gold continued to move lower, forming a zone of accumulation volumes 1352-1362 and 1328-1335. Gold is now in the mid-zone storage volumes. I do not exclude a possible overrun price below 1320. In general, the trend persists down, but there are prerequisites for correction. While I was out of the market.

XAG/USD
Silver continues to consolidate in the range of 20.50-20.85. I do not rule 20.48 update, but no entry points.

if im not mistaken, you buy when PA cross above SMA20, and short-sell when PA cross below SMA20. if only either up or down using 1 line

nothing difficult... plain MA (20)... Daily at the end of US session... looking where we stand and accordingly take the necessary actions...

This method has many whipsaws...but at the end of the day is profitable...

If you are able to combine this very simple method with some other indicators you will probably saves you from these whipsaws...

when you think about it, yes its really profitable, but yes without proper knowledge, it will cause a lot of whipsaws.

thats true...

What i am doing for the most cases is to wait for one more day to confirm this signal...

Well depend on situations... for example this week i was prety sure due to DXY (had a double bottom) that Gold will have a correction... so didnt wait for that extra day...

Othe people use some other indicators with MA20...

its a matter of philosophy i think
