No he does mean symmetrical triangle. Sure, wave 2 can't be a triangle as a whole, but it's B wave can be one. So it still could be a wave 2.
Personally I see 5 of C

We had heaps of DT in 5th lately, and a few possible truncated 5th after extended 3d.

note : the red number could be the larger count, i'd like to see a triangle from here on to confirm we are in a wave 4. So a lower high (<1000) followed by a higher low (>500)
(edit : myself i still got 820 and 690, coming up with EW)
also just to mention the B between the two DT don't break any rules it's 0.3 of A, and A=C

i agree with your count and reasons for it. If we went by the rulebook then wave C (red) having 3 subwaves means we're in a triangle of some sort.

Nice chart L_L.....I have this retracement as an ABC coming in at 565..........This would be a great set up for the next up to around 840 which would be wave 3 of the move from 538. Presuming the overall down move is over.!!!!

Care needs to be taken in case this happens......Not likely but best to be on guard.

Well, the best Ponzi scheme ever dropped 80% in one year... only.

I am sure that Venzen will conclude onto the power of the support at 270, but do not forget that Ponzicoin is basically nothing but gambling. Those that bought at 1200 understand very well what I'm saying. And I think the Chinese that wanted to avoid the taxes would find those taxes more advantageous now.

Good morning everyone else,

I've notice, the daily SMA200 was crossed on BTCE on 09/02, on huobi and BTCHINA on17/12, on gox on 13/02. Stamp hasn't yet.
First the daily SMA200 has been very consistent -in all of BTC history- to show the end of major correctives C waves.

Strangely, now, It doesn't show any coin leaving gox to be sold elsewhere. It seems that people on gox are not really trying to sell by fear or to cash out. And also even at those low prices nobody seems to want to buy.
Which is interesting.
The USDvolume is up to 3x higher on other exchanges than on gox, BTC are being bought. But not a 200 on GOX, but at 600+ everywhere else.
It's kind of if a consensus has decided to use their coins to kill Gox by dropping the price to zero. And that's seems easy to do.

edit : LTC is still doing an interesting thing, no volume, and seems closer in pattern to Stamp than to BTCE, so really Gox is probably about to shut down.

We can concentrate on the user "aristotle", but -1000$ per Ponzicoin seems to be much more interesting.

the way I see bitcoin chart - it will drop down to nearly 0 within about 10 days. it is worth only as much as people are willing to pay for it, and they are willing to pay less. once it drops to about 1$ per coin I will buy 100 or so and will wait for what happens - sooner or later somebody will fart that it is a future of economy and it will go up again, just to rip off more people.
at the moment i see it goes down in a very regular way

I bet it is like paradise, once you use leveraged cfds rather than the wallets. but still with this sort of movements you need to be careful with mm

To be honest with those larger swing, you don't need leverage, as you said it's risky, if i'm right 50% of the time, with 100%-300% swings like those, you only need to catch a one or two swings to double your investment. Which at the end give it a better RR ratio than most forex pair.

L_L i get it now.... triangles are allowed in wave 2s but not as a whole. could be a wave B or X.....

the C wave was an expanding diagonal on bitstamp? wave 1234 were unusually tiny in proportion to the diagonal

Looking at all the different charts.( thats another Matter that needs to be rectified) it would appear to be all down hill for a few days yet.
Gox down to 100 Btc-e down under 400 & Bitstamp down to around 450. Sheeeeesh.....

I find it hard to believe Gox traders are the sole reason for the low low gox prices. I think there is a lot of GOX manipulation going on to bring the price down so they won't have to pay out at higher prices. If they ever do pay out at all......
