Hello there,

I am looking for an indicator or some kind of a tool in MT4 which can show me the number of pips I have made or lost per day/week. Does anybody know of any? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a csv file (fcastEUR.csv) with a date column (showing the days of the current week and the next week), followed by eight columns showing forecast lines for this period.

How can I create a custom indicator for metatrader 4 which can read these forecast lines and put them on a EURUSD chart?

I have attached an example data file with. the forecasts.

Hello All,

First a huge thank-you to all the coders who devote their time, energy, and expertise so willingly!

This, I believe, is probably, a pretty simple request. I did spend quite a bit of research time through google and many forums thinking that there already had to be a similar EA. Unfortunately I didn't find one exactly what I'm looking for.

The EA I'm looking for consists of:
MACD
Stochastic
2 Moving Averages

Strategy: (Buy Example)
MACD has crossed Up
Stochastic crosses up below 50 (configurable)
Exit on MA cross (configurable)

Unfortunately I could not back test it, because historical data does not include any volume data. Any idea how to fix it?

I early saw your post, but I am suspicious of this strategy, because before I had written a similar procedure, test result is not ideal.

Can I assume you back tested and optimized?

Here is what I have, manually, which I'm hoping to optimize.

MACD 108-234-81
Stochastic 22-6-6
MA cross for Exit only SimpleMA 14/28

Buy example:
MACD turns green. Obviously with such a large MACD, it turning green is not the entry, it is my trend indicator. I wait for the Stoch to get buried at around 20. IF I get a cross up while the MACD is still green which sometimes happens, and sometimes doesn't, it is a pretty solid entry. If it doesn't happen I wait for the next MACD change.

Hy ... i'm looking for something similar to Exposure standard mt4 indicator + be price for all trade per pair opened... I've many position open in sell mode and buy mode on same pair and iìd like to see for each one the be price...
Is it possibile?

First I verified the EA operation. I have just started to go through some optimization scenarios. With one test almost complete on the MACD settings, choosing the AUDJPY M5 pair because of its ranging performance during the last couple weeks, and knowing that a ranging market will be this strategies weakness, the EA performed not bad. It averaged 2% growth per day under less than ideal conditions.

It's still early though! I will keep in touch.
