For those who celebrate the pagan festival of Christmas, I hope you have had a good one so far. Those who honour Christ's birth at htis time of year, may He bless you and all you do for all eternity. The rest who don't well, carry on gently.

After a long trip across the planet to various locations around the world, I would like to inform you that gold is going down. Confirmation has been received from various reserves around the world that the price is mismanaged and has been manipulated by bad bankers' employees for their own personal gain. However, this is just the smokescreen that we have been bullsi**ed with. The truth is that the top bosses are complicit and in control of the whole operation and there had to be a few scapegoats. As usual, the usual suspects escape with fraud charges being aimed in the wrong direction. My personal belief is that gold will rise in price, but not just yet. There is too much that has to happen to make that happen and too much that has happened to make gold even more bearish. Technical anaysis and a few phonecalls have confirmed that the world is now closer to a new reserve currency and with the sale of Anglo American gold interests to the Chinese, we can expect the price to go down possibly as low as $640 in 2014. I expect serious support to kick in around $850 (give or take $25) In reality we are much closer to a new depression than ever before and this one is now in line with a the devastation of the 1929 crash and with even more damage than can be imagined. This is the current destiny of the markets, and unless the global governments come up with an alternative (which they won't, as history has proven this time and again...) we are looking to buy a crash that grinds all nations into dust and desperation. After this point comes the new reserve currency after the FED sells the bulk of it's gold reserves to stop America going comletely bankrupt and too many starving to death.

That could then set the stage for a new global trade unit like the Euro with a globally managed central bank after the merger between the IMF and various private enterprise banks for a single point of stability managed by the World Order Bank. America consented to the enterprise, the new order is given... Annuit Coeptis, Novus ordo seclorum.

I see myself as a Price Action trader, leaning towards fundamentals when things get confused. What you're say here challenges one of those fundamentals.... "strong USD = weak gold".
I suspect that you're right about the Euro becoming the dominant currency. It's going to be an interesting 2014.

Indeed, appears to be defying gravity at the moment, but its a holiday shortened week, volume is thin now...

Volume on gold seems not so thin to me........

well good bears are at 1216 and 1223 and don't forget about FOMC results - Gold will fall more till the end of this month
