Personally chart pattern wise I am more focused on the possible bull flags on AU and AG, yet if they range too long it will render the pattern useless.

I have added a watched trade to track it's performance with GOLD

Long AUDUSD.

STOP 100 PIPS
TP 200 PIPS or higher.

Let's see how she works.

no it is not, I look it as a raw, and if 61.8 @1600 works than we can see 1520-16.area what is your view sir!

sorry for the intrusion.....
i would suggest to not look for that kind of pattern in a sideway trend like happening now. i mean: charts are full of H&S, revH&S, cup&handle, etc..... when price is closed in a tight range.

anyway, if you want to consider the possible revH&S, may i ask you why you are in a short position?
i mean: a rev H&S is a bullish sign to go near previous top range (1620), not certainly to be short to target the 'head area' (1550-60) or lower 1520.

I still see a wedge in the higher time frame. Look at the orange lines!
So at least 1618 looks realistic in the near future. There is not much space left in the wedge so a bullish break out may be possible. But for us this is not to determine yet. Lets see what happens around 1620.

yh short position, i am very short term trader If this pattern develop than price may hit 1570-65 area. I am going for that price,fabo 61.8 is around 1600 area so a strong down side move up to 1520-1515 can't be roll-out. in my view if market is bullish than it may test 1570-65 area and than go for 1690 area. if it breach 1547 than 1520 is next target. if you plz check on 4H chart 300EMA 27-3-12, 12-4-12, 1-5-12, 5-6-12, and 3-7-12. there is something market want to tell us!!!!!always looking for good advise an ideas
shearing one can not be 100% but if he ask from others than he may go home earlier. so I am no one I just want to gain knowledge from all of you. and want to do good. looking forward for your humble advice.

uhm, personally i prefer trade gold in longer TF actually i'm bullish with some options i loaded last week. was looking to open a trade short at these levels around 1600 but looks like better wait a bit.
in my opinion, market is looking for reasons to buy or not to buy gold. reasons could be a lower price, or an higher price. a lower price means cheaper buy. an higher price means more speculators are buying so maybe there are some reasons.

in terms of numbers this means everywhere below 1520 can be a good level to buy. best 1440. everywhere above 1700 can be good to buy if bullish beahvior. until price is in the middle of these levels, better be cautious.

so overall, i prefer no short this thing for the moment.

yes English is not my native language, I just want to know that can I go long in silver after it get support @ 28.866. as per the charts. and for CORN I want to get advice where I can close trade (if not stop out) just in learning phase!!!!

In other words if you feel you need to take advice, you should probably rethink the idea of trading or investing......

There is however plenty of information on this (and other) threads. I would suggest that you spend some time reading the accumulated "wisdom" and decide whether or not you can come up with a trading plan that suits you......

Price is struggling with major down trend line in daily timeframe
also PA looking to pass H4 supply.
also keeping this weeks fundamentals in mind we might test 1640 area

Well guys, good news, in 2011 cost of mining gold ( average) was about 1500 dollars per ounce. Wow.
When Obama reelection will end, we will see true rally I think.

we are experiencing a bit of technical resistance trying to cross back above the weekly channel dip line. (channel origin 2008.)

Price has been massively supported by the 100 week sma /

horizontal support at 1535 + demand in that zone 1550.

I believe this to be the beginning of a new upswing.
