iwould trade gold m1 coz honeslty looks very neat and liquid not messy. i got sucky 10 pip spread so scalping not really good for gold. either catch a trend or f--- off for me lol

Actually in reality I tripled my equity in August Sun $8000 to $23000....trading like Rav....letting them ride with a $12 (1200 pip )trailing stop.
Then being the greedy little snot that I "was"....left open a bunch of buys to ride them down.....but could not close them fast enough when it started going down....margin call Lost it all.

Pick a date on the charts for bearish....will run a strategy test on the bot and post it.

Hi all senior member and gold trader,

Im new to ForexFactory, anda recently just found this forum thread,
Im Asian (GMT +7), age 27, trying to increase my saving with gold trading so i can get married.

But instead of winning, im losing almost half of my saving, i started with 15000, now it only left me 6000.

Im asking the senior member help and guidiance, so at least i can win back my money.

My system cannot trade as low as 0,1 lot, the smallest is 1 lot, when reading this forum im realized that my trading platform is killing me. Im trading at local company.

All this time im trying reading the theory, fundamental issues, breaking news. But it take me nowhere. i survive this 2 month trade through pure luck.

Please anyone could give me advice or guidiance, of Monday (Asia Market Open) or Next week review or any tool i could use?

Desperately need help. Please

Withdraw what is left out of the market and put it in a savings account. You're not going to 'win it back'. Peace.

EDIT: Also consider that you have to make a 150% return just to break even.

That wasn't my question.

My question was about your EA equity. Wasn't that theoretical - not actual?

As far as testing I have been a TradeStation user for close to 15 years and there is far more to it than just running it on whatever data you have.

Almost any old strat can be developed that looks great ..... that is until it is actually traded with real money in real time.

I think you are the third or fourth in the last couple of months with this type of plea.

As LasVahGoose suggests take what you have left and quit. Not what you to hear I suppose but there is no magic solution.

THE very first question a person (was going to say trader or investor but it applies to just about every decision we make) has to ask themselves is what is the risk or more correctly the probable risk since there is no way to know the exact risk of an event in the future. Only once that is estimated should we think of the reward.

It is human nature to first think of how much we might gain and worry about the loss .... later.

Until you flip this kind of decision making around you are bound to lose more, so you would be wise to .... "quit while you are ahead".

Thx for the advice. But if i quit right now, it means i lose the fight. Persistent is one of human nature too.

It would be kind if anyone can give tips. I already trade back from 2000 to 8000, then lose recent trade to 6000. I know i can't keep counting on luck, so i need some education/tips? After all it all about knowlegde and timing (please anyone )

Or anyone could refresh more fundamental theory, beside $USD index (USA breaking news), what is other routine news / trend that tend to affect gold price?

Or any MT4 indicator i can use as trade guide? (i know its not the ultimate tools but at least if i lost it all, i lost it good)

Nice close to the week on the daily.

After the break, correction, hit the top of channel and reversed back up.

Working on this chart, not ready yet but I'll post it anyway and update it tomoro.

Go and found broker who could give you 0.1 lot trading.I have 7000 acc and i will never use 1.0 lot.Your broker is killing you

Persistance won't make up for lack of trading skills. In fact it might be the reason you lose it all.

Good luck but luck really has nothing to do with it either.
