Didn't say whether buy order was a good or bad idea at this time, only basing it on feelings.

I don't know your risk tolerance, account size, timeframe to hold trade for, etc.

At risk of sounding like a broken record downtrend established from alltime high is till not broken. So why go long except on a very short term basis?

Maybe that was your game plan. Don't know?

Plan is to buy and to hold until it touches 1800 at least, i myself am not confident at the moment, needed some kind of signal we saw 1600 just a few days back, in the process of correction it may go back to lower than 1600, so i hold my horses right now, patience is the key in this direction-less market which i tend to loose sometimes

Some small correction as expected.Buyed 1689 closed 1709.
Now buyed 1700 and waiting to 1800.

lol, my advise is to minus these earnings from the losses you have made earlier and spend the remaining on your lunch

Papandreou is trying to cover his butt.

If voters approve referendum then they can't fault him when things get tougher. If they don't they still can't blame him.

All I know is it was good for my Euro shorts.

i have a feeling gold is heading to the 1600 levels.two reasons) Greek Referendum 2) Risk is off , all carry trade is being unwound. In theory a lot of people going back to UST. intresting to see what happens?

I took this exact same trade for the exact same reasons this morning. Targeting recent highs around 1745ish with stop at BE
