Might be a fake down side. we can see the real face at the time of US close as the end of the week.

Then a $16 range in a 5 minute bar is very good fake.

Although I agree it matters where each day/week/month closes. That is until the next period's open which could gap either way reversing the previous period's closing sentiment.

It was, but commodities will soon rise. I'll know it over the weekend. ECB wants to star bond-purchasing (bad for the USX). There has been so many good pieces of fundamental data lately (bad for the USX). Personally, I think risk appetite is back, we just need to see a little bit more of a correction to the downside and it's done.

We'll know if that will happen next week, or if we will have to wait a little more (over the weekend).

That down move was low volume also... it was probably Fitch selling Gold after they downgraded! Another intervention of sorts to knock down the price of Gold. It will be hard for the price to recover between the Margin hikes, Fed announcements and downgrades!

Hi All.

Looks like some end of week profit taking. Still Stuck in range appx
75 USD range and we close right in the middle. Appx 1600- 1675 - 1635 stuck in the middle.
Typical expectation of a range bound trading ground.

Right in the middle again! Well, all and all 80 bucks as a range sure as hell beats 20!
