how does something good for the dollar be good for gold....it has to be because of euro demand for dollar right now.....coz of all their problems.

I would be nervous about that.....it could still go south.

Looking at the daily chart....support 3 is around 1550....also the 200mda is trending towards the 1550....if they all converge....I would think that would be a pretty safe bet to buy....you should at the very least get a strong bounce off of that.
Of course anything can happen....just my 2 pence.

Just noticed the volume is dropping off...that may be a sign in itself that is is about to turn bullish.

Just because a news release affects a market at that moment doesn't mean that move will continue.

You have to step back and look at the big picture and not just the knee-jerk reaction.

Where is price a hour later/day later etc.

Really tight range on gold today.... it's looking a bit weak IMO

Should have followed my gut instinct at approx. 5:15 am EDT to go long, but still at the sidelines.

Feel like I'm getting a better feel for the ebb and flow now, but with a big potential shift on Friday (and more to come), I am waiting patiently for the right opportunity.

But it is too early to closed long

I think price will reached 1670xx level thats my system shows...

A 15 min close above 1643 should at least trigger 1677

For me it has become bullish . 2 strong 1 hour candles price piercing through 1634 resistance it may dance here or anywhere but a bull run normally starts with this velocity .

My personal view we may see some real resistance at 1720 this time
