Really slow order execution so far tonight between 3- 5 seconds.

Hi Chris,

Problems and disconnect happening right in FOMC/ ECB rate decision can't be due to bandwith and having only 2 MT4 on DSL over 6MB/S it's getting too easy for you to pull out of the issue. MT4 require far far far lower bandwith and we both know that. FXCM demo or other demo's don't get such disconnect in FOMC and please CHRIS watch again my comments over video.

HOW disconnected could cause MT4 to draw 4 x 1min candles in just 30s?

You are wrong also over my location check IP ADRESSES for my account and you will get a surprise! I'm in EUROPE.

So your answer go markets doesn't fit my needs good to hear for european traders!

that's possible. however, in my mind i would expect a LOT more people complaining in here than there are. if go customers were ALL having issues i wouldn't expect to only have 10 to 20 people mentioning it here... but i don't know what other forex sites have customers mentioning issues with Go. it just appears, to me, that there seems to be a small group of customers who have ongoing issues, and surely there is some common factor between all of us. is our internet traffic all riding the same australian network backbones? are we all on wireless? etc? so far we all appear to be on different configs and from different locations, so the common factor we surely all have seems mysterious even up to now... which is bloody frustrating.

yes i did put it to full screen. but with you only moving stuff around, occasionally circling with the mouse to draw attention etc, it was kind of like watching a confusing mime show. you should think about annotating the video and actually write what different parts are meant to be exposing or whatever... else we are all just watching and guessing.

as for the 4 x 1min candles in 30 second issues you keep on harping-on about over and over.... DUDE close your platform down for a week, open it up, and watch ONE WEEKS WORTH of 1 minute candles arrive in 10 SECONDS! that's how mt4 is DESIGNED to work. it is catching-up ASAP on the missing data that it currently doesn't have in it's history. so when you get disconnected from Go for 4 minutes then you reconnect you are ABSOLUTELY going to have 4 x 1min candles suddenly appear. BUT, since you seem to have a LOT of charts open it will take a few seconds longer for YOU to have your history catch-up than someone else who only has 1 chart open.

when your connection to GO is crappy, your order sending and modifications etc will ALL be subject to issues like freezes, order context busy messages, and so on. when it's crap it's really crap. it's like driving your car and it randomly not accelerating or braking or turning one way or the other. if mt4 can't communicate properly then that's the start, middle, and end of the whole story. it's going to be nothing but trouble. if you are having issues simply receiving a constant price feed then of course you are going to have trouble with actually dealing with orders.

but, IF go has a LOT of customers, but only a FEW are having issues, it's in their best interest to not rock the boat when it could be a case of something that is outside of their control. really, it seems the only way that any chance of a fix happening is if some computer tech comes to each of our homes and analyzes the disconnects, order freezes, etc, and then goes away and has a big long think about what is causing it and if there are any similarities with other people also having the same problems.

i tried starting the ball-running in finding some common denominator by posting some details about where i am and how i connect, and i also posted some very basic mql code for people to use to literally SEE how good or bad their connection appears to be on average..... but only 2 or 3 people also gave some of their details, and so far no one else seems to have used the script i posted in here and literally SHOW EVERYONE how good or bad their connection is.

again, everyone has mentioned how monday was working great then since then it has gone back to being crap. RIGHT THERE is a clear-cut section of data for anyone at GO to analyze if they so desired... so really, it's whether or not they do so desire. if they do, great, if not, so be it.

How many lots?
I've tested some trades this week(0.1lot or less/no news time), the execution time was 1sec around. Some modify order was slower a bit, but the same about 1sec around.

Hi,

Recording FULL HD is recording 1920*1080 not low HD 720p which is 1280×720! Video would be bigger and bigger to upload. Hmm will try to make a profile that make video easier to track only a pair. And watch the trap if I compare to another MT4 automatically classic reply " you run 2 MT4 so your bandwith will not be enougth!". If you don't compare then you get reply what proof you have that you are still UP! This time will compare against NZ or other AUS broker will make it harder.

I will also start from today monitoring LIVE account on Server in DATA CENTER with 100MB/S connectivity ( NOT A VPS a really XEON server and doing only this f** monitoring !).

If you open 1min chart after a week and do it & try it as many time you want. You will notice PRICE line will immediatly jump to last price as last ticks enters first and you will have a gap in past candles. MT4 will not draw 1 min candles in such fast forward way and most important price line NEVER move following drawing as you get last ticks first. Check it and try it. I tried it on many platforms before pointing that here to be sure that I was not wrong and bragging crap.

Hope first that Go markets fix this mess.

just shrink both windows right down so you can see the connection and the last few bars of a chart, and stick them side by side so that they can both be seen. if you can fit 2-3 charts in a recording then you can fit 3 mt4's showing one chart each. then it'll be very clear what you are showing. having said that............

now i see what you mean now that i know what i'm looking for. and i agree with you that it is gnarly. i've never noticed it do that before, so yes, it'd be interesting to know how / why it all moved like that. it's almost like there was a big backlog of packets that then all started flowing in at once... which is next to impossible.

Hello Go Markets, Just so you know your platform is still crap....crap.... and more crap.

Price freezes, slow order execution, especially when the market is moving...

whatever you lot have done lately its not fixing the problem...

I am the idiot for keeping on giving you a go and thinking you can fix the problems you have had for a LONG TIME NOW.

Also I hope a lot of people are reading this so everyone knows how pathetic you lot really are....

may be customer start to come back , now its reached full capacity. problem only occur in peak volume time could be GO or GO liquid provider going overloaded. as modify order also take lot of time possible bottle neck at transaction server .

edit : i try to close took time so i cancel it few sec later it disappear from trade list , safe to say communication to transaction server ?

I'm trading for living and simply, I can not afford those bad executions and frequent disconnections,
which resulted in stopping any trading with GoMarkets ... that's a great pity after almost three years.
So, for now ... I'm only monitoring the service and truly do not see any improvements which could convince me
to return to active trading with them in a near future as all the recent fixes did not fixed any above issues.

fx13..since you are in Europe, are you connected to DC4-London. By default i'm connected to Sydney (i'm located in Malaysia), i manually connect to London today and noticed that the overall performance of MT4 is much better. My ping time to london is 1/2 the ping time to sydney. Maybe this helped a little. Anyway, need to monitor a bit longer to see if this dc switch does indeed improve things.

Connected to Sydney but as Chris said before better connect to Sydney as ping ot london doesn't matter. DC are just like proxies they will route traffic back to Sydney. So sometime the straight line is shorter.

So following recommendations as support said.

reading many complaints in recent week about go's service... is registering with another australia based fx mt4 broker a good alternative solution? like axitrader? fmcm? fxdd? ibfx? or any good recommendation?

AXI Trader and Pepperstone are names I keep hearing; pretty sure they only have 2 servers each so not sure how they can provide any better than GO Markets.

Check all of the Broker Discussion sub-forum, there will be more mention of brokers there
