DislikedWhat i was doing last night was having another brokers demo account going on another monitor, and when i noticed go's summary thing stop flashing, i force it to another data server.
Yeh probably best to avoid the more volatile pairs on GO if you're trading very short term positions.Ignored
DislikedYes I use another companys demo to let me know when my go is down and yes I try switching between sydney and melbourne or I just shut it down and start it back up, no way to try to make a living.Ignored
DislikedI don't enjoy putting the boot into GO- and I am holding out hope all will be good come Monday - but....my email has no problem receiving advertising fluff from GO, but anything of substance eg: outage issues, changes of policy etc.... nah, why would I want that!Ignored

My other concern is the lack of communication. The network techs "decided" to install the new firewall when the least number of clients were online. I ask, how difficult would it have been to have sent mail via platform to inform/warn those trading that work was going to be undertaken, giving traders fair time to make a decision. Communication and transparency.

DislikedThe respective IT Manager should have been fired. Obviously, there is no Change Management in practice by the respective IT dept. There was no testing prior to the change of firewall. There is no proper communication and there is no confirmation from the upstream provider that switching of the firewall should have proceeded.
Very bad policy for changing vital IT equipment.Ignored
