Pip,
Oanda candles print the "average price". You can set the charts to show the bid and the ask, and you will see them below and above the current printed average price. These are the levels your orders will get filled at, and Oanda is not shy about widening spreads when liquidity is thin.
If you are even more curious, you can chart the lowest/highest bids/offers using the "studies" function (where they put the indicators), this will print lines over your candles showing what the farthest bid/ask was at the time.

I'm just gonna have to say no for now. Don't get me wrong, I love their execution ask/bids prices, spreads, no commission- only interest bearing, no doubt. I am not saying I not use them completely, I will not be using them for charts. NO. WAY. Not even a second chance, since they said they will fix it friday, but STILL HAVEN'T, and has been going on for over a week. Who knows if this has been going on since they opened it up? Man oh man... I hope other traders realize this, because if not, you are into some treat....

I missed my only signal today for long term which come once a week, because I could not log in into fxtrade. My Oanda's MT4 worked normally... but sadly it is not linked to my main account :/
Here it is about money and it is simply not professional to offer some java crap.
Let's see "About Oanda fxTrade" Chief Software Architect....
Every last one of them is going onto my kill list.
There is final cut, avid for movies, photoshop, corel for pictures, maya 3dmax for animation/modelling, yet there is not a single software that is any good for trading. This is real money here, you understand that? This is not increasing boobs with photoshop, here is millions of dollars that are getting screwed every day. Not tradestation, not ninja, they are all cheap buggy crap developed by 10 people through e-mail conversations and programmed for dollar fifty an hour by South Koreans.
Alright, I am a lil sad I am not in that trade. You say, there will be another, I say, it will still go through fxTrade.
Ninja costs a grand and it crashes every other day.
I am looking forward to MultiCharts, maybe the only hope out there.

Try X-trader from Trading Technologies then you will know what reliable software is...

I am from Sydney, Australia and up to this moment I have been trading with an Australian Broker. I am thinking of signing up with Oanda since they offer charts below the 1M timeframe. My trading income comes largely from scalping and the shorter the Timeframe the better it is for me.
I was just curious if you're from Australia and you're with Oanda; what your experience is with this broker in terms of execution, deposits and withdrawals, customer service. If you're any other overseas clients please feel free to reply. I would greatly appreciate any feedback regarding this broker. Thank you in advance for all your wise input!
