im trying to fund my account but i keep getting the failed payment page. support says my credit card has insufficient funds, i know for a fact that i did not reach my credit limit and besides, i just checked and my balance on my credit card is only $30 out of $8000. i've never had any problems funding my accounts with other brokers.

I don't think you can use a Actual credit card to fund PayPal, and subsequent fund the gomarkets account.

theres a fund by credit card method, and then theres a fund by paypal method. i used the former.

Hi

Is any spread diference between demo and real on eur/usd.On demo i have
2-5s delay execution speed.How fast is execution on real account ?

The problem with changing the server time to GMT (which I initially also thought would be a good idea) and/or opening earlier to capture the NZ open is that you will end up with 6 days per week appearing on your charts, but the first day will be only a couple of hours.

I'd prefer to keep things as they are to have nice Monday-Friday graphs and keep my EA's happy.

No difference in spread between demo & real. I'd be concerned if you are getting that much delay on demo. I get less than a second on real or demo.

I reported it to them yesterday - my demo has the occasional delay (noticed it a few days ago) but the live platform is sweet. I spoke to Lawrence and he told me they will look into it. Chris called me back to say they found a problem and will make a fix this weekend.

THX for useful info, looks like i can get problems on real account.

If price is moving very fast,in all market conditions ,do you get less than a second to execution?

I haven't noticed it taking any longer, but because I did not see it as a problem I have only recently been paying attention to the execution time. (Since seeing others complain about it in this thread).

I guess the only real way to find out is open an account, put $10 in and do a couple of tiny trades yourself.

Any news on the backtesting data it would be pretty useful?

I'm also voting for you guys to not change the hours of trading, it might screw up a few EA's I have running that work well on Go's MT4 but not so well on others for some reason. I appreciate you giving us the choice to decide though.

I have many ea's that i use on my gomarkets and having gomarkets open earlier does not hurt them at all. I would to see gomarkerts open earlier and close later if that is an option as well.

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd let you know, we did identify a problem on the demo platform, which is now reported as being fixed. You shouldnt get any more delays.

Also, just so you know, the back-testing data should be available within the next 48 hours.

Hi all,

GoMarkets has an unusual spike on USDCAD yesterday. Here are the charts from GoMarkets and FXPro accounts.

Hope there is a good understanding why GoMarkets' datafeed can be different from FxPro or others.

Anyone out there who know this reason to spike beyond the daily low?

There was an unusual spike on USDCAD this morning, and I did see it on another broker, but we have adjusted this spike and any trades effected by it have been rectified. (The spike may not always update immediately at your end, but it has been adjusted on the server)

Every broker and every price feed will have these spikes which are basically unavoidable, but of course it is how they are dealt with, and all of our affected clients have been fixed up.

Hello,

As requested some backtesting data with our ticks not metaquotes is now available on our website.
This is not the definitve format for this and we will make it more streamlined soon but at least it gives you something to be getting on with.
We will also soon post the results of our poll on whether to change the opening hours or not.

Hi,

Let me point out that the trading servers were all online and fully operational, however it appears there were two instances where around 100 clients lost connection. We have checked into this with our colocation provider and it has been confirmed that there was a hardware problem with an ISP in New Zealand which caused the disconnections for some clients.

People who called our overnight desk were able to close/open/edit trades immediately as we and they had no connection difficulties.

If more information becomes available, I will let you know.
