DislikedThe problem is when the trades get executed..they take so long, your at the mercy of them spitting out whatver (execution price) they want.
That's the problem..
the feed does seem to be in real time...Just the execution time..Makes you wonder...Ignored
DislikedWell credit where credit is due at least they have recognised an issue rather than burying heads in the sand like some other brokers.
maybe you should try a VPS, 30bucks a month is reasonable for peace of mind, or go elsewhere if its causing you to much hassle.Ignored

DislikedWe are currently arranging for two new data centres, one in Australia and one in Asia .Ignored
DislikedWhy can't they put one in the US so that they can be closer to the Currenex servers from where they get their real-time quotes and where they get the traders' orders executed?
It doesn't make sense from a latency point of view for data to have to travel from US to New Zealand or Asia. It's the Australian/New Zealand or Asian residents who should be using a VPS that is located in the US, not the other way around.
I came across this eforex magazine special feature on latency and Currenex that was published in October 2005: https://dret.currenex.com/pdfs/news-oct-2005_latency_issue.pdf

DislikedHave had an account with them for the past few months and today my AUD/NZD account was instantly wiped out, just prior to the RBA announcement. What's odd is that the price that wiped me out (1.30087) is not shown on the chart or the M1 history in Metatrader. Additionally it doesn't seem to have occurred on my other account with gomarkets as no trades were opened or closed during the spike. Ditto with my other LatitudeFx account - no evidence of such a spike on either the chart or the price history. Did anyone else experience this? I've email gomarkets...Ignored
Dislikedthe word is that fixed spread brokers basically stop accepting orders around news time, so instead of a wide spread you get no trade ability whatsoever.
there is no way to cheat the system.Ignored
